Delivery dont bother
Pio Pio is one of our favorite spots on the UES, however, getting delivery just a few blocks from the 91 st location has been quite frustrating. After repeating my phone number 4 times we got our food an hour and 15 minutes later... without any green sauce, of which we requested extra (it is supposed to come w/the food). What is truly comical, is that when I called to inquire, they told me that they gave me the sauce and I must have "lost" it.. HUH? Dry chicken only good with green sauce...

Great service, food, and price
My family and I loved everything about this place. The food was awesome and the service was great. The chicken was tender and juicy, the salad was perfectly mixed and seasoned, the fries with salchichas tasted out of this world, the rice and beans almost better than mine, the maduros were crunchy on the outside and juicy in the inside. And can't forget the Sangria....It was sweet and tasty. Cant wait to return.

Almost Perfect
As a recent costumer at pio-pio and as a restaurant owner , i was very surprised for the value and the quality of a real peruvian food and an exellent service. I was there this past Saturday at the new location at the upper west side, i was happy to find new dishes in thier menu and I tried some of them and let me tell you I love it.

YUMMY!
This place is amazing. Hands-down the best deal in Manhattan and the food is DELICIOUS. The spicy green sauce that is served with every meal is positively delectable. I mean it! Also, you will not find a better bargain with a breast of chicken and all sides going for $3 each!! The service does leave a bit to be desired but the food and price make up for it tenfold. I am so happy that they've just opened a branch in my neighborhood, the UWS.

One of the best
When you consider that for under $50 here you can get a pitcher of good sangria, a whole wonderful roasted chicken, tostones, rice and beans, avocado salad and french fries with sliced up hot dogs (all the sides are wonderful) this is one of the best foos deals in all of NYC and I'm thankful as an Upper East Sider for Pio Pio, i'm also looking forward to try the UWS location

Delicious, Plentiful, and Inexpensive!
You must try Pio Pio! I was there this past Friday, March 30th and loved it. The food is great. I ordered the Matador Combo, while this is the most expensive plate ($26) it serves 3 people...that's a good deal. The service and atmosphere are ok, though. The restaurant is big, but they have filled every corner with a table. This is a bit uncomfortable when you are trying to run to the bathroom; but if you wait to go once you are done and on your way out, you'll be fine and the only ones having the trouble squeezing through are the servers.

Pio Pio!
Tasty chicken with even better sauce; each item on the menu is a winner...a bit greasy, but it is good.
