So good...
...that coworkers have taken my leftovers from the fridge. The lunch special is a terrific bargain. The place can get packed and the service a little aloof, however, so make sure you call ahead of time for take-out so you don't have to wait.

Extremely tasty
Great food but, felt a little rushed to leave. It's small and the tables are close together so it's great atmosphere however, this means they want turnover! Overall, would definitely go back again!!!!

This stuff is like Chicken on Crack
This is definitely one of my favorite places. The food is insanely cheap and the chicken and tostones are awesome. It's also my favorite place for Sangria!!! The Jalea is the only thing that's a bit of a waste. If you try the new location on 94th and Amsterdam, they have a great Seafood salad (Pacifico) as well as a tasty fried rice.

Definitely the best chicken in town
Order from Pio Pio and you will wonder how you ever lived without it. The chicken is amazing but watch out for that green sauce - it may burn your mouth but you may not be able to stop eating it. A whole chicken may be too much - a half chicken should suffice. ALL the sides are delicious too, so go nuts. They are usually so overcrowded in their very small space, that you will probably have to wait. If ordering over the phone be sure to speak clearly (the restaurant is usually so buzzing they may get your order wrong).

Best chicken in NY. Only the chicken
Pio Pio Restaurant is excellent in Chicken, it's great! ... But... only the chicken is good on this restaurant located on the East Side, because the Ceviche... ooohhh, I'm sorry, but, it's the worst ceviche that I had on my life, with old lemon, and tastes terrible, and the tamal oh my god! it's terrible too, without salt and no flavor, so bad. Again the chicken is great! And if you go to the new Pio Pio on 94 St. and Amsterdam, Wow! the ceviche is really delicious! and the tamal is excellent.... also: Corvina Inka! mmm delicious. I'm surprised, because it's the same owner, and they have to be care for to have the same food in every place, Pio Pio have many other restaurants in Queens and Brooklyn too. The chicken is great in every of their places, but the rest of the food on the East Side mmm not good, I'm sorry, I just want to be honest.

Yum Yum
A little cramped at the restaurant, but great to order delivery from. Chicken is always consistent and the sauce they serve is awesome. Great neighborhood spot!
