I don't know where you can find a better bagel in the city
I'm a Brooklyn girl, born and raised. While I haven't been able to find any city bagels that compare to Brooklyn (whether Brooklyn Heights, or Mill Basin), Pinnacle is tops. They are flavorful, slightly tough on the outside and thick and chewy inside. Yum! My favorite bagel combination is a toasted sesame with walnut raisin cream cheese.

Bread with a hole in the middle
Bagels lack flavor and substance.

good bagels
The bagels are made on the premises and usually have a fresh, if not warm, taste. Also, you can order them toasted, unlike most places that make their own. My criticism of the bagels is that they tend to be a little heavy and doughy, even by NYC standards. If they made them a little smaller I think it would actually improve the taste. Besides, there must be others like me who throw out part of the bagel to cut down on the calorie count. Nice selection of cream cheeses, more than most bagel shops. Though it is noticeable that they take a bit of a short cut. Most of the flavorings, like scallions, etc., are just recently piled on top of the cream cheese, rather than thoroughly mixed into it in advance so that they blend.

Decent food, annoying cashiers
Decent sandwiches, decent price, but the cashiers are soo annoying! They are constantly yelling "next, step down!" at you, before you even get your food. And if you want to get a drink with your lunch watch out! You will be screamed at for deviating from the line to pay. Bottom line: the place is pretty good, but kind of scary.

Best sandwich ever!
Can't wait to go back for chicken cutlet with sundried tomatoes and pesto sauce on foccacia bread. Sandwich was huge and delicious! Price was a steal at $5.50. My biggest dilemna is do I try other choices or stick with this gem.

Awesome Service and Deliver
They're practically there by the time you hang up the phone. Seriously, they're that fast. I've ordered lunches with different orders for ten people at a time, during lunch rush, and they still take, at most, 15 minutes. And they get your orders right. If you ask for extra mayo, you get it. I love their sandwiches and their prices are great. A warning about their cooked entrees and soups. They're pretty bad. Way too much salt and anything with pasta is a mush.
