Absolutely wonderful!!!
I go to this place all the time for morning coffee and as everyone says the owners are soo nice and the pastries are delectable! Everything is fresh and a lot of times just out of the oven and still warm. I'm sure they use good quality ingredients b/c you can taste the difference with their pastries. We should all support these guys and go there; this way everyone benefits! I'm hoping this place is here for the longrun!! :D

mediocre food for manhattan prices
I had the red velvet cake, which was very dry and lacking flavor, The frosting was OK, but also lacking any particular flavor. Though the woman behind the counter was friendly and nice, the food was just not worth the price ($3.50!)

i found my bakery heaven
After passing by this little store a few times I finally went in about 2 months ago. Now I go there once or twice a week. As reviewed the red velvet cupcake is to die for. It's flavors are perfectly balanced and it's not like those overly sweet things you find elsewhere. I'm also a fan of their rainbow cookies and cherry/cheese puff pastry. And I also agree, the owners are the sweetest people ever. This place is definitely a gem.

good pastries, nice staff
Pinisi is a tiny place, but service and staff make up for it. The atmosphere is nice and their strudel is delicious. They also make good bread. Tea or coffee accompanied by a good piece of pastry is what makes Pinisi the best. Give it a try!

amazing sweets!
This place is incredible - really amazing sweets, heavy on the fruit pastries, and as others have said, the nicest owners ever. They're very sweet to my very loud small boys, which can't be said for your typical pastry shop! The red velvet cupcakes are indeed moan-worthy, and the ginger-rasberry mouse in a chocolate bowl is decadent. Long live Pinisi!

Don't miss this amazingness!
I went to this bakery for the first time tonight, urged by a friend. I got the last red velvet cupcake - I'm so thrilled I did! It was the best red velvet cupcake ever. I was moaning while I ate it! Everything looked delicious, and my friend, who is a regular, said everything is. They have a huge selection, with rarer beverages too, like ginger coffee. Because the people there knew my friend, they gave her free cupcakes and both of us free bread. I've never met such friendly people nor had such delicious food. GO THERE!

Great Little Family-Run Bakery!
I've been walking by this place meaning to go in because the muffins and cookies in the window looked delicious. Well, they are. The people who run it are SO nice, and the desserts are delicious and very inexpensive! What more could you want from a little bakery?! I'm a little worried because it's kind of hidden around a corner and I hope that people know about it and go there! It would be a crying shame for a cute little independant place like this to go down simply because people don't know about it! Go there!!
