I love mexican food, and am not a snob about it either. But this place is not only poor quality - it's over priced for what you get.

Love this place. It's a great spot to stop in if you want something fast, fresh and cheap. The shrimp and fresh mahi tacos are great. Plus the owner is so nice--always there and says hi to everyone. I think the atmosphere is totally cute, like a little taco shack. I think better than the much-hyped la esquina around the corner.

I've eaten here at least 6 times since they've opened. Tacos are definately best in the city, NO CONTEST..def reminds me of authentic places on the west coast. Food is very, very high quality, and super fresh. Caritas, fish, pastor and shrimp are especially recommended. Prices are totally resonable and the staff is super nice. CAVEAT: The tacos are delicious, but small. prepare to eat 6 if you want to remotely get full. =starts to add up. Still, absolutely worth it. Give me 12!

Went for dinner tonight. When we got there the place was unclean and there were crumbs all over the table. We ordered a quesadilla and nachos. After ordering we got the quesadilla. The menu described it coming with guacamole. When asked where our guacamole was, the woman at the counter denied that it came with it even though the menu clearly stated that it did. Mind you, the price for the quesadilla was $7!. The cook then confessed that they didn't have anymore guacamole. How do you not have guacamole in a Mexican restaurant? The prices between the overhead menu and the paper menu also varied. The nachos we got were in a tin tray. Literally 20 chips, some canned refried beans and 7 slices of jalapeno. during the entire time, the staff was in attentive, even eating and chatting while we sat there and wondered why they weren't cooking our food (at 630 pm). How will they compete with others around, I have no idea. "Pinche Taqueria" is a very appropriate name for this place.

Great mexican food and reasonable prices! I'm so glad that this is in my neighborhood!

The service is good and the food is authentic. Most important is the quality of the tortillas in the tacos, which is impossible to find in Manhattan. The tacos are good and the salsas were very tasteful. Recommend to have a glass of horchata water for dessert.
