Haven't been to the restaurant yet, but I got delivery. The food was really good, I haven't had much off the menu, a taco and a burrito, and I will definitely get food from here again. A heads up to everyone though, the red salsa, is sooooo damn hot. I have a high threshold for these things, and I am still able to eat the food, but my mouth is on fire. I made the mistake of asking them to put pico de gallo inside my burrito, and that is why it is so hot I think. I am going back again sometime soon though, cause this place is legit....

Closest thing to a good breakfast burrito in the city.

I was born in Mexico and my mother cooks amazing Mexican food. This place is definitely the best place that I have come by for authentic Mexican food in the city. For those of you who don't know, in Mexico sour cream and cheese in tacos or burritos doesn't really exist. They have authentic corn tacos I was very impressed. If you don't like this place then you don't like authentic Mexican food, go to Chevy's!

the steak is dry and so is the chicken. the tacos are small and the burritos are nothing special. the fish torta has a generous serving of fresh ingredients, though it's the only thing i'd recommend on the menu.

First off, my wife is not from Mexico, and I did not grow up in So. California, so take my review with a grain of salt. Don't come here hungry. And yes, I realize the irony of that advice. I just spent over $9 on a "meal" of two tiny little tacos and some chips. The tacos, which are now $3 apiece, are appetizer-sized and are gone in two bites--not kidding. Even the salsa they serve w/ the lackluster chips used to come in bowls -- now they hand it to you in a little plastic cup. I have been here before, and it's changed: prices have gone up, and portions are now a complete joke. I won't be returning.

My wife is from mexico, and we frequent the country. I'm born in manhattan and this is one of the more authentic places i've had to eat! Blayze you should probably stay in your borough and review the places where you live. service was great, food rocked every time i've been in and no qualms about the portion size.

Okay, so it was freezing outside and I figured this little hole in the wall Mexican joint would be the perfect place for some cheap eats. I was completely wrong. Sure, it has a quaint kitschy Mexican look and for SoHo such a dinky eatery would be more at home in the far more ethnic neighborhoods of Queens or the Bronx. As for the food, it's overpriced and not worth it at all. The Taco Al Pastor was mediocre to say the least, and for $2.75 this place is not cheap for such tiny tacos. The small little tortillas that that attempt to cram the meat on turn into a soggy pancake which in turn, become an annoying mess to eat. It would be okay if that $2.75 got you two tacos but forget it. I can only assume you have to be drunk and willing to spend alot of money for one of these lame little tacos. Again, there is no such thing as good Mexican food in New York City, or at least Manhattan. As for myself, I ditched this joint.
