    You won't be disappointed

I love Pierre Loti West. As my go-to neighborhood spot, I am hesitant to even write a recommendation here so as to let the word out. But, alas, I must share the love. Plus, they recently expanded and so now I feel that they have the capacity to host a few more patrons than before. To start with the food - it's always fresh and cooked to perfection. They have a nice selection of salads - The Chelsea Salad being my favorite with chopped tomatoes, onions and cucumber topped with their homemade thick yogurt that acompanies it perfectly. The salmon and scallops for entrees are great. I tend to order fish but have had tastes of the filet mignon and lamb ribs, both of which were awesome. The service is attentive, but more importantly, welcoming. After returning a second time, they recognized me as a usual customer and always make me feel like a VIP. The setting is casual chic with a new nice U-shaped bar in the center and some dark cozy corners if you have someone you want to snuggle up with. They have 4-6 outdoor tables which is lovely for eating on a summer or spring evening. All in all, you cannot go wrong with this place for dinner or drinks.

    Top Neighborhood Spot in Chelsea

This place has it all - great food, cozy atmosphere, and friendly service. The apps are great - I love the grilled calamari and the Chelsea salad and the filet mignon for an entree. The people who work there are always friendly and attentive. Wednesday nights turn into a bit of a party with live Turkish music, making for a very fun night.

    Amazing

A hidden gem. The food is amazing; always fresh. The mediterrian salad is the best I have had anywhere in the city. Great atmosphere and even better service.

    Charming Restaurant

Been to here a few times now and it has yet to disappoint. The food is delicious and the service is always attentive. It's a great value with a varied menu. The setting is intimate combined with a dowtown vibe.

    Amazingly good food in Chelsea

I returned for my second meal at Pierre Loti West and I have to say that it was awesome, and was inspired to add a review. Awesome appetizers worth eating again, like the Chelsea salad- diced tomatoes, cucumbers and spices- and entree of fillet of striped bass-cooked to perfection. Good date night place, warm atmosphere and bonus is BYOB

    Poor Experience

I've been to this restaurant twice since it opened. After my most recent visit, I have no plans to ever return. There were numerous problems.......1st, the service was pretty bad the entire time which was even less excusable given that there were only 2 other people dining in the restaurant while me and my 2 friends were there. It took the waiter 10-15 minutes to ask for our order and only after I waved him down. It took over 1 hour for our entrees to arrive at the table.....does it take 1 hour to grill a chicken kabob and a piece of fish? When my friend's fish arrived, the waiter spent a good 5 minutes cutting it open on the table next to ours and deboning it. We were all sitting there watching him and thinking "What on earth is this guy doing?". My appetizer was a stuffed grilled calamari dish which I think was around $12. Besides a few pieces of lettuce, there were 3 of the tiniest pieces of calamari I've ever seen on the plate....literally 1/2 an inch or so long.....and that was it for $12. I was in shock looking at this plate and tried to savor each my 3 bites but that didn't really work. Otherwise, my entree, the chicken kabob, was very salty.....as was the tiny side of couscous that I ordered (which cost $6).
