Pie Face

I didn't know how to eat it. I dug in with a fork and realized I'd totally effed it up. Even so, the Tandoori Vegetable pie tasted pretty good. I liked the flaky crust and the well-seasoned filling of peas and potatoes and other stuff. Texture was kinda viscous though. Also had a blueberry mini pie. The reg pie is what I picture as "mini" sized and the mini pie is the size of a small muffin from the 24-count muffin tin, not the 12. Again, pretty tasty, but weirdly viscous. I think because it's no fork required and they don't want it falling apart if you're a tourist and eating while walking or standing in line for Dave. I'll probably order again though. Especially since I have this coupon for a free mini pie.

At 2am my boyfriend and I decided we needed food and after extensive googling and walking around for like 20 blacks we ran into this place. The food is great, our favorites are the mexican and chicken mushroom pie. The price is great- two people can eat for $12-15. Buy sweet and your bill will increase dramatically though. The staff is so friendly too. We would definitely go again.

I've never had a meat pie in my life, so when I heard buzz about a place specializing in this kind of thing, I had to feed my appetite and my curiosity. The staff is super friendly, the owner is truly proud of the work accomplished so far and it really shows in their pies!! I personally tried the chunky steak pie. And, for under $7, I got some warm comfort in this nyc winter. First off, the pie has a smiley face drawn onto it almost as if it knows that you're in for a world of savory goodness. The crust is nice, buttery and flaky..pefection! The beef is so well seasoned. My meat pie virginity belongs to Pie Face...they were gentle and I will come back for more.
