Declining value and service
I agree with the other reviewers. The past couple of years has brought declining ratings. Their muffins and bagels used to be great quality. The prices have risen to ridiculous levels. A hot tea and muffin was 5$. Last time I was there a girl couldn't believe her bagel sandwich was 9$. It is sad, since this used to be a regular place for me, not any more.

Will not be ordering from them again.
Delivery takes an hour, not 25-40 minutes and they send you wrong food. If you order orange juice it comes without straws. There are no plastic utensils to spread cream cheese. This place went downhill in the last three years. Last time I am ordering from them.

Over Priced!
Way too expensive for quality of food. Cream of mushroom soup $4.50-- was a container of cream with hardly any mushrooms. Turkey sandwich on everything bagel w lettuce and unripe tomato $8.45 -- bagel was stale! 1/4 lb macaroni salad $.95 mushy pasta and overloaded with sugar. When placing order I was put on hold 4 times. I will not eat at this place anymore.

Vastly Overpriced and Overrated
I purchased a bagel with lox (no cream cheese), a small soup which is about $4, and two tiny cookies? The bill was almost $20. No receipt is given so you can't see what costs what. The bagel/lox was okay but in no way worth the outragious prices they charge!

Staple, sometimes dissappointing
We order from Pick a Bagel almost everyday. We like their bagels the best for the area, but sometimes they come untoasted even though requested. :( Overall, good reviews though!

so sad
I was a loyal customer here for over 6years but started having massive delivery problems so my bagel and coffee showed up an hour later both COLD (and no, I did not order iced coffee). The delivery guy would call me and act as though he was downstairs and he wasn't b/c I would come down and wait for him. When I called the store to discuss it they said sorry and hung up on me. I haven't been back since....and that's b/c it happened 3 times in a row. BUT, I switched locations and now back to enjoying my bagel and coffee every morning! The 2nd ave location is the best!

slow delivery and disappointing BLT...
horrid delivery service and worst BLT of my life. the time estimate of 15-30 minutes was completely false. my food arrived 50 minutes after i ordered it, even after i called the place twice to check on the status. the toasted bagels were cold, and my BLT's bacon was not only verging on raw, but had not even been separated into strips- the slices of bacon were all lumped together as though they'd been thrown from the package onto the grill for about 5 seconds and then smushed between the bread. it's too bad, because generally their bagels are good, but today's delivery was downright offensive...
