    Disappointed

    Both my friend and I were disappointed in this place. It is not a traditional restaurant-- you get food at the counter. And it's very basic: plastic silverware, etc. But my main complaint was with the food. Vegetable lasagna was not like lasagna at al

    Great little neighborhood cafe

    Just what Murray Hill needed. A great little european cafe that has gourmet sandwiches, salads, pasta and coffee. Gets crowded at lunch time, but worth the wait in my opinion. Love the Salami sandwich and the tuna sandwich. Will be a regular here.

    Strike one, but might try again

    Thought the menu was promising, and I like having a non-chain, homemade option near the office. Maybe I ordered poorly - an asparagus barley soup, which sounds great but was extremely oily - like a thick layer of oil on the top, which I tried to remove. S

    Good food, except for the bread

    Nice pasta selection, and the sandwiches are usually pretty decent. But the bread needs to be upgraded: the "bruschetta" with the pasta is just a stale piece of sliced bread, and the sandwich bread isn't good either.

    Charming spot for great food

    Tiny and sometimes packed, but the food is so good you will never mind. Hip crowd, great atmosphere and excellent coffee. Not a place to go if you're in a rush, but a place to linger and enjoy la bella vita.
