better than your average "fusion"
I usually avoid "fusion" restaurants, because none of the various cuisines are as good as a single specialty restaurant. This place is happily an exception, probably because they stick closely to their two cuisines, thai and Japanese, without going all over the map. I gotta say they got both sides of the menu right - I'm pretty picky about my sushi but this place is right up there with my favorites in the slope - Oshima, Mura, even Blue Ribbon (at a quarter of the price.) The thai is dead on too, easily as good, if not better than Thai Sky or Beet. And I think they have the best Gyoza dumplings of anywhere local, japanese, chinese or thai. Highly recommended, and great service to boot.

Two thumbs up!
We read about Picasso here on menupages.com and were glad we decided to check it out. This cozy little hole in the wall had great service, great food and a very relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely go back next time we're in Brooklyn!

Unprentious Eats
I went to this picasso's for the first time last week. I had the chicken basil from the Thai menu and it was excellent. I cant wait to try the rest of the menu. While there try the ginger/honey tea it will take the chill out of you body in a couple of sips. love this place.

great food, great price
so this is one of those places that you look at and go "what the hell?" asian fusions? seriously, there is just something weird about the interior and vibe, which is probably why there are hardly ever any people in there. which is too bad because the food is really terrific - nothing fancy, just well prepared and consistent and good. the service is also terrific. i get takeout a lot and it's always good. the times i ate in, i tried some of their special sushi rolls and they were all really good. the thai food is quite good too. sushi + thai, weird combo i know, but the thai is pretty basic. i hope for them that word of mouth spreads quickly. but it is nice knowing there is neigborhood place where you can get seated immediately and get food right away and not pay a ton of money. there used to be a time when you didn't need reservations to eat out on a weekend on 5th ave...

Total Hidden Gem...
This place is just like a few others have already mentioned before... Totally tucked away nicely just up the street from our place and I really hope they can hang in there until the vibe catches fire! The food is amazing and the service is outstanding - I just hope they keep it all up after these reviews start bringing in the dough =)
