    Great place!

As a single woman living on the UES, I always feel intimidated about walking in to an "irish pub" alone (yeh, I know that sounds pathetic). Well, a girl needs to get out right? What an inviting place! Super friendly staff are welcoming, great food. They actually remember my favorite drink! I love this place: quick drink, dinner alone, coworkers after work, (I brought my mother), 1st or last date, "girls gone wild"-all of the above! Thanks everyone!

    Not recommended

I used to come here with my classmates at the end of the day. NOT ANY MORE. Like the other reviewers, I found the waitstaff was rude and full of attitude. The food, though probably on the cheaper range in the area, ended up being unappetizing. We usually end up going somewhere else. They may be pricier or less convenient but I'd rather pay more for better, friendlier service.

    Change for the better

Need for a burger close by prompted our return (see previous review.) Surly waitress was't around. Smiling server was hussling and got it right despite busy, noisy crowd. Bar food much better than it needs to be. Glad to be back!

Things haven't changed, except for the worse!

So, a guy walks into a bar, orders a beer; 20 minutes later, no beer; guy walks out. Harried, unfriendly server STILL working there (see reviews from 2008-09). Too bad, because burgers, salads, chicken hero are great, but it's not worth the rude and inattentive service.

    A Find!

Stumbled in to this little Jem- Heaven! Great burgers, wings and specials. Super nice staff, attractive patrons. Wish I could get there more often!

    Dive Bar on the UES

This place seems somewhat out of place on the UES. It certainly has the feel of a dive bar, but the food is actually very good. Honestly, the wings are some of the best I've ever had. Plenty of tv's for watching games and even a pool table with some arcade games as well. Service can be a bit shotty since there's usually only one waitress, but overall I highly suggest checking out Phoenix Park if your looking for a very low key sports bar with above average food.
