Revised Review-Still Awesome, Just Fancier
I hadn't been in about a month and a half and went last night. In my previous review the only negative about the place was the bathroom. Well, the place has been re-done. The restaurant is bigger and fancier. And, the unisex bathroom has been converted to separate modern "his" and "her" bathrooms. Not to worry, the food still tastes just as good and the wait staff just as pleasant. I did notice in addition to the locals, several of the diners were young, hipster types. It turns out the restaurant just got a big write up in the Times. Good for them! Only thing now is the secret is out!

Delicious Vietnamese food!
Pho Grand is wonderful--fresh, tasty food, friendly, prompt staff and inexpensive. I love this place. Favorite dishes include spring rolls, summer rolls, sizzling beef which is cooked tableside, pho, vegetable fried rice, oh so many good dishes. My family and I have been regulars for a few years. Family/kid friendly. We have a 1 1/2 year old. I take everyone here. Only drawback is the unisex bathroom. It is tiny and they recently added a urinal and a partition to separate it from the toilet. That being said, the food and service far outweigh! I'm so hungry thinking about the food, I want to go tonight!

Pho Sho
I've been ordering from this place "to go" for about two years now. Last night for the first time I ordered the Sesame Beef Pho. I'm embarrassed I waited that long. It was dee lish us. The standard amazing spring rolls were good as always. The service is quick and friendly. A gem on the L.E.S.

Confirm positive reviews below
Have been to Pho Grand 4 or 5 times. The last visit was during a stay of several days in the Lower East Side. One project was to sample as many Vietnamese restaurants as possible. Pho Grand remains the favorite after trying a few other ones in the area. Staff is unusually welcoming and polite.

We keep returning for the Pho soup
Although by no means experts in Vietnamese food, we keep returning to this place (all the way from NJ!). The Pho soup is outstanding and so is a salmon casserole, I forget what it is called, but it must be their answers to salmon Teriyaky.

Trust your instincts ...
... when you discover a place that has an overwhelming majority of native speaking diners. As I did some years ago when I found this place on one of my several times weekly hikes from the Village to Grand Street. Great food, in particular the shrimp, and the freshest vegetables delicately garnishing each dish. All in all, still a great bargain with fine service as well.
