Food is decent but for the same quality you can find a better places in china town with much more reasonable prices. unhelpful wait staff. the hostesses hang around in the entrance area, which bothered me a lot. (felt like they were watching us eat.

Excellent Pho
You have to ask for the basil, but the broth was excellent. Mild star anise taste. Who cares about the service and atmosphere . . . the soup was delicious.

I [heart] Pho
This is another clean, delicious standby when I work in the neighborhood. I prefer to eat in because they use too much plastic container, brown and plastic bags for take out (treehugger, me). The pho is great -- with the meatballs or the tender steak. They are kind to give extra cilanto or limon on request and have a great selection of hot and other sauces to mix in. The food is not cheap, but is worth the price for a good midday meal.

Good food
I have to say i been going to this resturarnt in the city for a while now! I love the soup bowls The small is still way to big and its a lot off food.. BUT IT IS GOOD. OMG I LOVE THE KIM CHI if i spelled it right nice and spicy mmm. I didn't like the Shrimp and Veggie dumplings or dim sum at all. the shrimp balls lol i think it is i did not like. But i love THE IT IS GOOD. And some of the staff is friendly some are not just nyc u know.. but trying new things is a good thing a bad experince shouldn't stop u at all.

average, but only available in midtown
the broth varies from day to day. sometimes it's really good. the layout is too crowded, the seating is tiny. my only beef is that they only give basil with the pho if you really push them. it should be automatic. there are better places in chinatown, but if your stuck in midtown, this is the only reasonable place, so i end up going a lot during lunch.

Best Pho Place in NYC
I have been to this restaurant so many times when i was working in NYC. I just LOVE their Chicken Pho and the price is reasonable too.
