I enjoyed the establishment for the first time. The filet mignon for two was delicious and the chicken was decent. The variety of fried rices they had wasn't bad either. All I wish is that the lighting wasn't so dim. I hardly saw my food, but overall, great time and I'm broke now, but worth it.

One of the most expensive Chinese restaurants in NYC with some of the least worth it food. The crispy fried duck seemed at least 2 days old and dried out. The shrimp toast was a thick slab of rubber with no taste. They were trying to be high level but the disco music was annoying. Never again.

Let me start off by saying that the food is gross. The decor and ambiance was good for being on madison ave, but thats about it. My fiance and I ordered the surf and turf which was $135 bucks and we were, to say the least, very disappointed. The prices are obscene for the quality of food. If you want chinese food people stick to your regular takeout spot and save yourself the disappointment.

one thing this restaurant has going for it is the food - it is extremely tasty - whatever we ordered from the ribs for appetizers or the duck spring rolls to the crispy beef as a main course were truly special - the only disappointment was the lobster roll which were basically tasteless and a complete ripoff at $ 29 . The staff was generally attentive ,but one had to ask for the white rice to accompany the dishes and condiments such as soy sauce which you would think should be readily available. What is not acceptable in this restaurant is the sound level at which they decided to blast their music which is probably meant to dull the senses so that you no longer realize how absurd the prices are on this menu . As good as the food is , it does not justify the prices and the general atmosphere of this restaurant.

after reading the mixed reviews here, my partner decided to try this restaurant for the first time. We were greeted politely by a pleasant hostess, shown to our table and the waiter took our drink orders promptly. Our only disappointment was the stark and cold décor (or, more properly, non décor) of the room. But more important, the food was delicious, more creative than most Chinese restaurants and accompanied by professional and courteous service. We would definitely return.
