Best fish in town for a small budget!
I love this place. I went for Brunch yesterday and got the grilled tuna with ginger, avocado. It was the best sandwich I have ever had with fish for only 12.95. I also love the salmon burgers, the hamburgers and the pork chops. They have great portions and fantastic service for brunch and lunch. They also have great wines and do the happy hour during the week for great wines by the glass. I love the Cote De Rhone for 10.00 for two glasses. Philip Marie is my favorite American hangout for great fish.

Disappointing
The only thing worth having here was the roasted butternut squash soup. Everything else was sub-par. I had a pathetic NY Strip Steak that was dry, rubbery and chewy, even though I ordered it medium-rare. Furthermore, the pulled pork was a massacre! It was dry and had a sickly sweet orange glaze fit for French toast instead of a savory dish. We didn't bother staying for dessert. We won't be going back!

Disappointing experience
Very rude waitress and very non informative. Came in at 11:30 for brunch and waitress was very unclear about brunch rules and the bottomless drinks. We understood the 12pm alcohol rule but the rude sendout after the meal made our group never desire to return. Food was greasy. Non-friendly staff

Had dinner at Philip Marie last night with friends who picked it. I wish I had read the last 2 reviews. Have to agree, the food was disappointing, served luke warm and didnt taste like much. Our waiter was obnoxious and for some reason rushing us even though there did not seem to be anyone waiting. My friends apologized, stating it had never been so bad.

Snotty Waiter/Cold Food
The title captures the experience, almost. We went to the restaurant Sunday evening to celebrate a birthday. It was not crowded, yet, the food that should have been at least warm- chicken pot pie and an ostrich filet- was served cold. Prior to the main course, we wondered aloud to ourselves why the waiter and the bartender were chatting for about fifteen minutes while I was waiting for the martini I ordered to go along with my oyseter appetizer that was sitting in front of me on a plate. The waiter overheard us and rudely informed us that he was discussing a wine selection with the bartender, and that was why my martini had not yet arrived. I felt that if I were to have engage him in a conversation about that he would have cursed me. I have never before seen a waiter and bartender discuss at such length a bottle of wine while patrons are waiting for their drinks. My dinner companions had finished their appetizers by the time the martini finally arrived. All things considered, I would not go back and cannot recommend anyone going there, unless you enjoy your hot food served cold and you enjoy waiting for your waiter to give you attitude when he can find the time.

Where do I even begin? Made a reservation and read on their website because they are so busy, there is a limited amount of time you have to eat your meal. I thought "how obnoxious" but figured I would still give it a try as I've heard the food is good. The food was not good it was awful. Appetizer and entree were served ice cold and tasteless. It was disgusting. Even adding salt did not help. Not only was the food awful- we had the rudest waiter. We waited a long time for our food, which we appreciate because we dont like being rushed, but we are now convinced our rude waiter intentionally let our entrees sit out for a long time, as again, our food was so cold. It was just an awful experience from beginning to end. We couldnt wait to get out of there, we did not even bother with dessert. Will never go back and will warn anyone I can to stay away!
