Philly Grille makes the best Philly cheese steaks I've ever had outside of Philly. Also , the best hot heroes I've had in NYC period (and I've had many). The heroes may not be as big as most pizzerias make them, but they are the freshest and tastiest around (chicken parm is outstanding!). My rating is based upon hot heroes only, because the pizza isn't that great (no reason to get pizza there in this neighborhood anyway), and I haven't really found it necessary to dive into the menu beyond the delicious sandwiches (although I hear the pasta is good). This place is basically a kitchen, so although one can sit and eat there, it is not a restaurant. If you're in the mood for a cheese steak or an anything parmigiana, look no further than this place!
