My husband and I had brunch here one Sunday afternoon - it was AWESOME! My husband had the famous spinach omelete and I the ham and brie sandwich. The place is small but so adorable and the server was very personable and funny! I think it's a great little place, we'll definitely come back again and again.

I have been coming to Petite Abeille since they opened. PA invented comfort food and put Belgian food on the map. The homemade yummy waffles are so delicious that there is no need for maple syrup. The fluffly omeletes are made to perfection-not overdone. Lobster night is a great deal. The frites are worth it. Belgian beers are satisfying. I love the lambic beers..soo good...fermented fruit...cherry, peach or raspberries. The outdoor cafe is a welcome retreat during the summer. The staff is always friendly, comical and always willing to please even during busy brunch times. There are many restaurants in NY but this one deserves a visit.

My native New Yorker friends brought me here and I am still salivating over the yummy omelet filled with spinach, mushrooms, onions and bacon and served with mashed potatoes and spring greens. We had the waffle special for dessert -- the most scrumptious Belgian waffle served with whipped cream, fresh mango, luscious strawberries, and banana. Coffee was exceptional. Our waiter was charming and efficient. The place is tiny, but on a nice day you can sit outside.

I love this place! Omelette special with lobster was great, as was the gauffre aux fraises. The mimosas tasted like they were made from $4 Andre champagne, and the coffee wasn't too good either, but you can't have it all. Lovely atmosphere, great place for brunch. Crowded on the weekends, and small space, so you have to wait outside. For the waffles alone I will come back.

Way west on 14th before that district became the IN locale, Petite Abeille always offered the best fresh food at such low prices! Specialty seemed to be Moules and Frites and people came back and back for only that. But there were wonderful salads, sometimes fresh made soups. The loss of the 14th st. lease has sent the restaurantto 1st Ave and 20th, a much larger space. It is hoped that even if the clientele grows greatly the quality and economy will remain the same. Best wishes!

A little New York treasure for fast fresh food. Too bad the 14th street is closing. Mussels and great omeletes. If you're a waffle lover, you're in the right place. Plus there are tin tin cartoon galore. Fun, fast and fresh.

I love Petite Abeille! I even bought a T-shirt. The French fries (ask for them in the metal bowl) are excellent. I've been here several times--for brunch, lunch, and dinner--and have never been disappointed. Very small inside, but you can sit outside in warm weather.
