Sorry i want a drink
The bartender was so annoyed I ordered a drink - she broke the glass! The food is good but DO NOT sit at the bar my experience was poor. They need new bartenders I was just trying to spend money - we quickly left and went somewhere much more enjoyable!

A hidden treasure
I had probably walked past Peters several times without knowing that it was there. Passing by one night on our way to another local restaurant, we took a look at the menu and opted to give it a try. We shared the Crab Cakes appitizer with a lovely glass of Pinot Noir for for me and a Cotes de Rhone for My hubby. I had the Spinach linguini with seafood and he had the Pork tenderloin. Everything was excellent!!! The only complaint I could have had was about the bathroom, but it was clean just not very roomy. The waitstaff were all very friendly and made us feel right at home! We decided the very next day to have a drink at the bar and the bartender Rita was a delight although maybe too much fun because 1 glass of wine that we had planned on quickly became 3 glasses. we will certainly be regulars!!!

A worthy Place to Visit
We ordered food and appetizers and I must say the scallops were truly excellent, the best I’ve tasted in a long time, the seafood salad was a large enough portion that it could not be finished in one sitting. The Atmosphere was very Pleasant (a bit noisy) but full of life. This Bar & Restaurant was a treat, and keeps NYC hours open till 2am (The bar till 4am.) A worthwhile endeavor

Warm, Friendly and Delicious
What a delightful surprise to discover Peter's. We were greeted warmly by Barry the owner who seated us and made us feel very welcome. Our waiter was attentive, but not overbearing. He stood close by and was ready to meet our every need. I noticed that he treated all his customers with the same care as did all the wait staff that evening. The place was bustling and a little noisy but not overbearing. When making the reservation we asked for a quiet table away from the kitchen and the bar that had a sports TV. They let us know that they could not always honor such requests but a cozy table for two was waiting for us when we arrived. The meal was amazing. We had the Special salad which was fresh, crisp, light and sweet with the mixed greens, pears, mangos and encrusted walnuts in a light berry viniagrette - yum. The other specials were to write home about . Mu husband had the Basil Ravioli stuffed with lobster, scallops, crab and shrimp in a light cream sauce topped with portabello mushrooms. The flavors were in just the right balance - a perfect meal. I had the Lemon Filet of Sole on a bed of risoto with fresh green beans. It too was cooked to perfection. We were too full for desert but will definitely return to sample the desert menu the next time we return to the Lincoln Center or just visit New York. Peter's is a must for a good meal and a pleasant dining atmosphere. Koudos to Barry & the Staff!

Good brunch and Nightlife
We have been going to Peter's for brunch for over 2 years now. They are consistent with service and decent food. The bar can get crowded on the weekends, but is a good time. Check it out.
