Gone downhill
For a long time, we considered Peter's to be a cut above this kind of restaurant. But, we then got a disappointing dinner, one that we had had before. This was a takeout order; they also didn't fill it correctly. We initially chalked it up to an "off night" But when we ordered on another night, we had the same problem. The food was not as good as it had been. They also did not fill the order accurately. This will be the last time we do business with them.

Good attempt at gluten free
Peter makes a good attempt at gluten free, but needs to follow through. He offers eggplant parm in gluten free, but not an eggplant parm on a gluten free bun which he has. A gluten free mac & cheese would also be nice. Maybe you can include a suggestion/feedback card with your gluten free orders. Its nice that you offer it, but if you expanded a little, it could pay off a lot.

My Favorite Diner on the UES!
Peter's has never disappointed me. I order from them probably 3 times a month. The staff are super nice..They took my order for delivery at 1045pm even though they close at 11pm. The fries are the best! South of the border wrap, fritatas, pie, I love it all from this diner. Just wish they were open 24 hours!

Best food @ Upper East Side
This restaurant is not known much for some bazaar reason. The food is great.The shrimp cocktail is to die for.There is a backyard. Owner is the best. You will not be able to finish your meal. Very generous.

Delivery
Todays fresh mozzarella caprice salad was nothing like the same salad of last week!! There was just 3 thin slices of tomatoes, 3 mozzarella and three roasted pimento. Last week the salad was wonderfully fresh with roasted beets& wedge tomatoes & thick mozzarella & pimentos with fresh basil, also some balsamic vinegar on the side - I don't know who prepared tonights food but it was carelessly prepared

Impressive Delivery/Nice Outdoor Space
I just ordered lunch from there. Not only was it quick, but my fries were delivered in a separate foil bag so they were still crispy when I got them (unlike most places who deliver them soggy and cold). Also, a couple of years ago I had a group birthday here. There is a nice smallish back patio that was perfect for my party of 12. It felt private and cozy and the staff was very accommodating.
