    Best Neighborhood Find

The renovations are almost done and they are AWESOME. Great new design. The new management are so nice and accomodating. While before I felt like I was being schmoozed, now I feel like there is a genuine kindness to the staff. This place is a new favorite. I will DEFINITELY become a regular now!!

    Wonderful and Reasonable

I don't know who wrote the negative reviews on here but they are dead wrong!!! This place is great. Excellent food at a great price. I am always beyond satisfied when dining at Petaluma. Lovely new management. And all the new decorative touches make it so much better!

    LOVE PETALUMA

I work around the corner and come in to Petaluma whenever possible. Great food. The new chef is a real catch. This place has undergone a few changes and they are for the BETTER!

    Was Pleasantly Surpised

Went last night to Petaluma for the first time....had always seen it busy but decided to go recently when I saw that they had re-done the restaurant a bit. Food was tasy-- had a pasta special with lobster, fiance had Veal Scalopini which he enjoyed. Service was very friendly and they let us dine instead of being rushed out the door. We will definitely be returning!

This Once Great Restaurant is Now a Bomb!

I have eaten at Petaluma since Elio's took it over many, many years ago. I loved this restaurant so much I would eat there at least three times a week. Most anniversaries and birthdays were celebrated with great enthusiasm over the years. The last four times I ate at Petaluma the food was at best mediocre and at worst inedible. The new chef has a very heavy hand with salt. His sauces are flat and uninteresting. The manager argues with you if you complain. Petaluma was never an inexpensive restaurant, but the friendliness of the staff made up for the occassional food flaws. We live in the neighborhood and frequently ordered delicious meals, but the last time was the last straw. In this neighborhood the competition is too great. I am afraid my good friend Petaluma will lose one their oldest and most loyal patrons.

    Exciting Find!

I ate at Petaluma last night for the first time after always walking past it to the bus, and had an EXCELLENT meal! The specials were wonderful, the service friendly, and the prices beyond reasonable. Also, the place is being renovated and so far, looks like it's going to be beautiful! This place needed a new look and I will DEFINITELY come back to see how it all turns out!

    Terrible !

This restaurant is owned by the fabulous Elio's but somewhere along the way lost its way. They send their B staff to Petaluma - the pizzas used to be the best thing to order now the pizzas are dry crust with a little cheese...too bad!
