My husband and I have been meaning to check this place out for a while. We got lured in by the deck on the second floor which does provide for an intimate atmosphere amongst the hustle and bustle of the city. We actually ended up eating inside which was classic trattoria style with jazz music playing. But the atmosphere did not make up for the menu. We went for lunch and found that unless you were in the mood for a pasta or an expensive fish dish that there really wasn't much to choose from. I ordered the chicken sandwich and besides a cup of soup it came on a plate with absolutely nothing for $13. It literally had a piece of lettuce, tomato and some honey mustard and was served in the middle of a totally bare plate. My husband's salad didn't offer much either, besides a couple of pieces of arugula and 3 shrimp. Not worth it, at least not for lunch!

For a neighborhood restaurant it's quite expensive... the food is good... the service isn't bad (although they are quick to remove your dishes before you are even finished eating). The cheesecake or the mud pie is delicious. The wine is okay and although I am a frequent customer who spends a great deal of money i.e., appetizer, dinner, desert, 2 glasses of wine, espresso and sambucca, they never seem to think about buying back a drink... very depressing so I began frequenting other restaurants!

Went on a Saturday. It was quite busy and packed, but we had a reservation. Service was solid. I wish they had warm bread. Waiters kept on bumping into my chair. Food was brought fairly fast, whenever we asked for something, they did bring it fast. Food value was okay, I sort of think it could've been better. Had the Fettucine d'Aragosta, which was good, but it seemed a bit dry. Desert sizes were real good and value was fine. Wine was okay. All in all, it's okay.

Had a very satisfying meal here on a cold January Friday night; very friendly and attentive service, great food and pleasant atmosphere. Wonderful whole grilled bronzini, striped bass; caesar salad with fresh anchovies. White chocolate mousse cake was a delight. Not cheap but not out of sight for this neighborhood--$100 with tip including one drink and one shared dessert. Everybody in the place seemed to be enjoying themselves.

the food is fine and is some cases, very good. the service isn't bad (although they need to stop with their daily specials; they just rotate the same 5 dishes). however, their prices don't justify the food or the service. at the end of the day, this is a neighborhood restaurant charging top tier rates.

Went with my family during the holidays, all of us (8) loved the food. The seafood purse is the most creative delicious appetizer I have ever had. Entrées such as monkfish & Fettuccine D'aragosta were excellent. Dessert is also highly recommended.
