Looking for a good seafood / Italian restaurant in the neighborhood and this was just the place! The seafood special was delicious. With a group of 6, we all got something different and delicious. The wines were fun with a big variety. Reasonable. Friendly service. A good neighborhood find.

amazing wine, appetizers and dessert! fish was a bit plain, not as delicious as I was expecting! Overall a fun atmosphere and good service!

Plain and simple, the food was not good. Veal was gamey, not fresh. Pasta was under cooked. Fried calamari tasted fishy. Service was good, and atmosphere was nice. But food was not good.

I order the rigatoni pomodoro, which should be a easy simple pasta dish... How do you mess this up? Well they did, it had absolutely no taste or seasoning at all, and the pasta even had a funny taste to it. My girlfriend too was displeased with her seafood pasta dish. This was our second time there and tried to give it another chance as it right around the corner from us, but will not be back again.

I have visited pescatore many times, and i must say it is a great Italian restaurant to eat and enjoy yourself. The different pastas are great but fill you up quickly. The atmosphere is nothing special but there is really cool 2nd floor porch tables. The service is great as well!

it is extremely overpriced. I've eaten here on a number of occasions and feel the need to write this review after ordering one of the fish specials for dinner recently. It was nothing more than a piece of grilled fish over rice!!! That was it!! No side or even hint of a vegetable. No remarkable ingredients...just fish and rice. For $25 bucks you can get much better value elsewhere. that said however, the food and the service was good - but at this price point you should get much more.

My husband and I have been meaning to check this place out for a while. We got lured in by the deck on the second floor which does provide for an intimate atmosphere amongst the hustle and bustle of the city. We actually ended up eating inside which was classic trattoria style with jazz music playing. But the atmosphere did not make up for the menu. We went for lunch and found that unless you were in the mood for a pasta or an expensive fish dish that there really wasn't much to choose from. I ordered the chicken sandwich and besides a cup of soup it came on a plate with absolutely nothing for $13. It literally had a piece of lettuce, tomato and some honey mustard and was served in the middle of a totally bare plate. My husband's salad didn't offer much either, besides a couple of pieces of arugula and 3 shrimp. Not worth it, at least not for lunch!
