Loved the turkey burger and my husbands steak was the 2nd best steak he ever had in his life. The mashed potatoes are to die for. This is a great place, easy going, decent prices, good service, and comfortable.

Been to new york 3 times, we make sure we breakfast here every time we go, small on the outside, huge on the inside, booths around the outside are nice & cosy. The staff are always quick and polite and the breakfasts are to die for. Eggs benedict fantastic, french toast wonderful, corned beef hash mmmm, you can tell we like our food! Would recommend this to anybody wanting some breakfast fuel to see them through a day of new york sightseeing.

This place is lovely and located in the perfect spot (right across from Grand Central). And the burgers are great and the chicken pot pie is homemade and huge - and good. They have lots of good food options, both comfort food and otherwise. But my favorite part is that it's not usually fully packed and you can find a table out of the way and have great food and conversation and privacy - booths for up to 4 people line both sides of the restaurant, which makes for a lovely romantic meal or just a time to catch up with friends.

On a recent business trip, I ate here twice with groups of colleagues. The menu has enough diversity to satisfy a group with mixed tastes and budgets - and everyone was happy with their meals. Dinner salads and the chicken pot pie were particularly tasty. The staff from pleasant and efficient and the setting was much nicer than it appears from the street. The only drawback was the noise level even when the restaurant is not crowded.

After checking-in to our hotel we went for a walk on the town. Pershing Square is located under the bridge on 42nd street. From outside it would appear cramped - but don't be fooled. Inside is cavernous with a pleasant atmosphere. We were provided a booth that afforded plenty of room. My companion had a turkey burger while I chose chicken potpie. Portions are generous and the staff is courteous. Pershing Square is a great place for respite if you need a break from the pace of 42nd street.
