Persepolis

Amazing food, great service and a funny, friendly owner are only some of the reasons I frequent this restaurant at least once a week. The food is unbelievably good and the prices are more than fair. The atmosphere is even more enjoyable since they have recently made some minor renovations. I have been eating Persian food my whole life and have never had anything better than Persepolis. Due to a recent review in the New York Times, they are more crowded than usual so you might want to make a reservation.

This was my first time eating Persian food and I absolutely loved it.. I have never tasted such flavorful rice. Everything was great.

The mixed apps are very good, so fresh it's like you made them at home. I had beef ground kabab on rice with blackened tomato, very nice, rice was perfect. I'd have liked a vegetable or something but that was my lack of experience I guess. Very friendly & stylish place. I recommend it.

My friends and I went to almost every Persian restaurant in NYC and were not too happy with their food, service, and atmosphere simply because we were comparing it to Persepolis. Over all Persepolis creates an environment that is comfortable, relaxed, and pleasant and service everyone the same with their delicious delicacies/food.

Coming from two persian parents I grew up eating the best food. Especially, rice and Kabob's. Making persian rice is an abosolute art and this place had it down to perfection, along with the meat. My father agreed and he doesn't like any persian food but his own mothers! did not try any of the stews, but I will certainly go back!

Celebrating a birthday with dinner at Persepolis, can be a delightful experience. Service is excellent! Ask for Parvez -helpful and polite! Ambience, warm and friendly, and food - Salads, Kebabs and Rice were delicious!!

The food is very good here, price is right, nice ambience. The service was a little slower than average the night we went but maybe it's not always like that.
