I've had Persian food at many different places in LA and NY. While this place has a great atmosphere and layout with an excellent wine menu and bar, it fails in the most important aspect, Persian food! The kebobs are too small and too dry. The prices are really high considering the quality.

This is an unbelievable find, in an area with a billion restaurants, the food quality here stands out big time. The atmosphere is totally mediocre, and upon entering I was expecting an average meal. The service was nice and friendly, the prices weren't excessive given the location, defiantely not cheap, but not unreasonable. Also, great cocktails. With a little makeover and better seating, it could be a true allstar.

I had one of the best meals of my life there and I will for sure go there again the next time I will visit New York! Don't miss this people! It is not overpriced, it was worth every cent.

I disagree with other reviewers who said that the menu is overpriced. I believe that for New York the value is great. For three appetizers and four meals, three glasses of wine but no dessert the bill was around $100. Our waiter was accommodating and gave us special rice that wasn't on the menu. The chicken stew was especially good and came home with leftovers.

The food is very good and the atmospgere is lively and jolly. Only caveat--the wines are VERY overpriced.

Talk about home-style service and genuine class; the wonderful owner of this restaurant personally oversaw the perfectly orchestrated management of my birthday dinner party of 30 people! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, the food exquisite, and the service outstanding. Thirty out of 30 of us will be returning to this superb establishment.

It was great but it was over priced. It seems like a family style that you can get a couple of dishes and split between four people.
