I don't know why people are claiming this place is expensive. My extremely delicious entree was $16.00 and was more than enough food. The service was very good (not pushy, very able to explain the menu) and the atmosphere was beautiful. If they had a location on the UWS I would go once a week. I highly recommend it.

Food is great but its a bit expensive. a glass of wine, shared appetizers and a main dish can easily bring you back 45-50 each

I always get the salmon kebab, which is so good, but I think its a little too pricey. The dill rice is wonderful, they can use a little less butter in the rice. The waiter is wonderful, very gracious and accomodating. I have been going to this place for years, and I am not even Persian! :)

Good food, great service, decent prices, and a nice wine selection. I will definitely go back again.

The food here is subtly but deliciously flavored, with no real sauces. This may take some getting used to as it's therefore quite dry - however, this is probably by design as that's what Persian food is supposed to be. I've been here twice so far and enjoyed the food both times: the sweetness of the rice is a great foil to the meat. Service isn't exactly warm but by NYC standards it's passable. Whatever Shiraz is available by the glass went well with my meals.

The food here is great, the service is ok (depends on the waiter), and the prices are on the slightly higher side. The eggplant mirza appetizer is fantastic, and the saffron chicken, soltani bah filet, and caspian entrees are wonderful. Definitely have drink when you're at Persepolis - $10 for HUGE martini glasses filled with alcohol makes for a fun night!

This Michelin rated restaurant serves delicious food at a wonderful value. The fesenjoon stew with either sour cherry rice or almond rice is highly recommended! Wow. It is full of flavor and is one of my favorite meals anywhere. The service should be commended as well they forgot to pack our leftover rice one time, and when we called the next day, we picked up an entire serving of rice replaced for free. Persian food is a delicacy, and this restaurant is excellent! A lovely, classy atmosphere while completely comfortable. Reservations recommended.
