Just had the California Turkey Sandwich. Turkey, Avocado, Cucumbers and sprouts on multi grain bread. Everything was super fresh and the avocados were ripe. It was delicious, can't wait to go back!

There are few places where a person can eat in this town and be treated so well. The owner here will tell you what's on his menu (it will be different every day depending on what's in the kitchen), and the food will be fresh. Here, you know who makes your food, and you know they care about it. This is a hometown restaurant, truly. Even to the out-of-towner.

I work right on 38th St, and eat here almost every single day. They have an awesome breakfast and lunch buffet, sandwich station, sushi station, create your own salad station and mongolian bar. No matter what you're in the mood for, you'll find something here. Everything is delicious, and the service is impeccable. What's more, the prices are extremely reasonable for the quality. Definitely worth a try!

Limited selection (probably since I was not there at lunch hour)...looks ok, would have to try again during high noon. Nothing special but not spectacularly bad. I probably wouldn't go back there though.

Pergola is an upscale cafeteria. It is always perfectly clean, and the food is always 100% fresh and colorful. The assortment of different options make it a place you can visit every single day, without getting sick of it. There is a seating area upstairs which is a large enough size that you never have to wait. The Mongolian BBQ is unbelievable. The sushi is fresh, yet the pieces are slightly small. The sandwiches are inventive and delicious - breads are always fresh, and the meats are always perfect. The create-your-own-salad section is gorgeous. The soups are good as well. And the hot food section always looks and smells delicious. If you work in midtown and are looking for somewhere new, this is your place. Check it out!
