There are some truly bad pizza joints on the UWS (90's). Of the several I've tried, one was actually gross. Cheesy Pizza should be called Greasy Pizza with Thick Soggy Crust. One of the Ray's was poor too (not sure which one, sorry) it was on B'way upper 80's. I have to branch out, sure. Pizza Perfecto has tasty pizza, but it's odd. The crust is not regular pizza crust, it's more like Shakey's (if you remember that and aren't from NYC) Pizza's cracker-like crust. Yes, it's thin and fairly crispy, and I enjoyed it, but it's not really NY style pizza. That said, it was good. The sausage pizza was good, they use crumbled sausage not slices of link sausage. The pasta that I had there was tasty too. I'd give it an average rating. I wouldn't say "stay away". Just don't go out of your way to try it.

I admit I am a bit of a pizza snob. Of all the options on the UWS, this is definitely the best. The pizza crust is crisp, sauce is sweet, and cheese is fresh. Yet my most favorite part of the whole experience is delivery. The owner/ chef/ manager answers the phone speaking clear English and is nice and friendly. I love that this pizza is from an Italian from start to finish... just the way it should be.

A very good pizza shop. Large slices full of meat and vegetables, 2 slices was too much for any of my crew to eat. Very many menu choices from slices to full dinners. Recommend for quick, reasonable meals.
