best pizza on the upper west side

I'm a NYC pizza lover and have tried just about every delivery service in the area. Perfecto Pizza is perfection. The only issue with this place is the delivery can be messed up- so order and go pick up if you can- it's worth it! Another tip: put your oven on 350 before you leave to get it, cover the middle rack with tinfoil, and then pop it straight into the oven when you get home (5-7 min) before eating. I also recommend slices or medium to large sizes. The small pizza crust is not as thin and perfect as the larger sizes-but if you prefer dough-y it's the way to go...

    Great food, unreliable delivery

Why can't restaurants ever seem to get delivery right? I love the simple food here but they have never gotten my delivery order correct. They just screwed up my order for the 6th and final time. It's pick-up or dine-in for me from now on.....

    Finally!

I finally found a decent pizza place on the upper west side after trying about 15 of them. I tried all of the other ones recommended to me and nothing did the trick. Perfecto has good cheese, tasty sauce and soft/crisp crust with bubbles. Thank goodness I found it because I was starting to really consider moving. You have to be able to find at least one good pizza place in your neighborhood in NY. I've had this 3-4 times now and it's good every time. THANK YOU !!!

    Good food...but prices have skyrocketed!

I have to agree and say that the pizza here is really good, it's never soggy and does taste good. But for other stuff, you bettter bring some real dough. I used to be a fan of their Perfecto's Special Sandwich, which used to be $7.45, and I believe that was a steep price to begin with. I placed an order yesterday to find it out they have jacked up the price to $8.95. Usually when pizzerias raise prices its 25 cents or 50 cents per item........but to raise the price an entire $1.50 for this sandwich........OUTRAGEOUS! I guess that since they are now running a full fleged restaurant next door.........they have to pay for the rent somehow.........but for pizza......they're still very good. Don't think about ordering anything else unless you check your wallet first. Laterz.

    Fantastic for what it is!

Perfecto has just expanded! What was once a great little pizza place, is now a great local greek and italian ristorante too. Charismatic owner and staff (and if you're lucky, a few locals). We stopped in expecting to make due with pizza for the eve and were suprised to see the menu. Not the cheapest, but very good food.

    Great

Perfecto's is great, make sure you try the BBQ Chicken Pizza, although you might have to order it because i don't think they make it there...
