Good but needs minor improvement
The atmosphere is inviting and keeps your attention. The menu was very interesting and seemed to have a lot of good choices. I recommend the smoked eggplant appetizer, although the bread on which it was served was probably not made perfectly (crispy and chewey at the same time). The other bread served at the table was very good and the salad was excellent. The service could use some improvement. It seemed to be European style and the attention of the waitstaff was mostly on my male friend. Even though it was not terribly late and there were plenty of other diners in the restaurant, it seemed like they were trying to rush us. Although we were still eating and there was food on our plates, the waiter swept by and took away our plates! Also, immediately after the bill was given to us, the waiter was right next to us (within a foot) waiting to receive our payment. I would probably try it again in the future because the quality of the food was good overall, but the service would make me have a second thought.

For A True Taste of Turkey
Recently enjoyed a special evening of fabulous Turkish food with service and ambience to match. The open kitchen with the chef supervising the various dishes gave you the feeling of concern that everything served had to be perfect, and it was. The owner was continually circulating throughout the dining room, as though it was his own home, and we were all his guests. The specialities of grilled lamb prepared in many forms were so flavorful, as were the various salads with wonderful spices. The "Adana" dishes of chicken, lamb, and beef were seasoned and mouth watering, as was the skewered offerings. Baby lamb chops, were just scrumptous. The pulse in the restaurant was amazing. I could go on forever, but for a terrific night out , I would highly recommend Pera for a treat!

Nice one.
I have already been there twice with my girlfriend. Great atmosphere and decor. Nice to have a view of the kitchen to see the action. Great food and wine selection. The hostessess and the coat cheking space need improvements but over all great place to dine on some unique food.

Made me a superstar!
I took my client and an out of town business associate here for lunch this week and Pera's food, atmosphere, and service made me a star. The hostesses need some work but the food is delicious, the atmosphere stellar, and our waitress was lovely. My clients loved this place. Try it!

I love the baby lamb chop!
I had lunch there with my boss. I tried the baby lamb chop and just loved it! The atmosphere is just OK, a bit crowded - as they have good business! Will definitely go there again to try the Turkish dessert and coffee, which are said to be very unique and nice. Services were good except that near the end my unfinished plates were taken by a waiter, who did not even bother to ask if I was still working on them. He then felt embarrassed after realizing that but it was not a big deal anyway. The food is definitely worth trying.

Fine, Not Amazing
My friends and I ate here last night. Overall, I found the experience pleasant. Waiter was great, very attentive without being in the way. The kitchen looked under control. Liked the space, warm and sexy. Did not like the TV in the bar, a sexy-cool mood killer. I thought the food was good but not life-changing. The bread - delish. Baby lamb chops, also delish. The fish, Chef’s Meze - just ok. Dessert was very good, a shredded wheat with cheese and honey was a suprise, and we all agreed the baklava was as it should be and rarely is - moist and flavorful. Would I go back? Honestly, only for a drink and a snack. If I happened to be in the neighborhood. And even then, I would keep my back to the TV and focus on the room. Also, they need to get the coat check situation together. It took them 15 minutes to locate our 4 coats, with a line of people forming behind us. Overall, fine, but needs tweeking.
