Not worth it.
Diet coke: $5 (they don't give you a whole can's worth, they just fill the very thin cup with ice and pour in a taste of soda) appetizer portion of lamb tenderloin with pesto sauce: $19 (it is a petite version of a shish kebob). The whipped eggplant and hummus was tasty, and my friends liked the bread, but it really wasn't worth it. The salads look good, but didn't look like they had much meat in it. Like other's said, it has a nice atmosphere, but the portions are teeny and prices are high. If you eat like a bird but like to spend like a rapper, you will enjoy Pera. Otherwise, any other place is probably worth the walk.

Nothing special
First of all, this is not traditional Turkish food -so if that's what you are looking for, then go elsewhere. Nice decor, kind of palace-like without the chintz. Will impress. The rest is pretty mediocre I am afraid. Food was quite unmemorable. Portions are pretty small. And the prices are way out there for what you are getting. We went there for a family celebration of sorts. Dont think I will return anytime soon.

Gamey lamb, pushy staff.
Went in with high hopes from all the great reviews, but the lamb was incredibly gamey, and the waiter was pushy. I really wish I had known all this prior to visiting. The interior was nice, and I have never balked at paying a lot for a great meal, but this certainly wasn't worth the price.

Great dinner! Will definitely go again
This is the extension of restaurant week, so my friend and I went to experience it. The layout of the restaurant is very spacious and amicable, and we were seated promptly. The waiting area, on the other hand, is also lovely and spacious. We both had Humus for appetizer. My friend had lamb, and I had chicken. All delicious and special, not the old foods you would get anywhere. The deserts were especially delightful. I was amazed by the meal. The portion is just about right (though some guys might think its too little), and the flavor delicate and rich. I would definitely go again.

Delightful
I stopped at Pera for lunch today and I enjoyed the experience. The presentation of the food was excellent as was the atmosphere and service. The lamburger was the best of its type that I have had. The fries were very good, but the pickled vegetables could have been better. The iced coffee was also good. I was too full for dessert. I enjoyed the meal and I will be back.

Dine to impress
Pera is a great place to bring out-of-town guests to impress. I took some friends from Seattle to Pera and they absolutely loved it. From the high-end decor to the friendly restaurant manager (Frank), the group had a wonderful dining experience. Go for the eggplant and tomato timbale and the Mediterranean Branzino and you can't go wrong.
