Love the food, authentic italian pizza

Went there for a friends birthday party, and was amazed. I usually go to La Villa or Frannies. This place is much better the pizza was so tasty and had an awesome taste. We had a bunch of appetizers and pastas that we shared. I will make this my new pizzeria of choice. I would have never gone if it wasn't for my friends party. Me and most of my friends don't usually cross over ninth street. Peppeino's has given us a reason to cross over ninth. Try this place you wont be disappointed. The waiter is actually very cute as well.

    Brilliant Brooklyn Pizza

Peppino's opening has been such a blessing! The pizza is delicious. I've never eaten in--only delivery or take-out, but the service is friendly and the delivery fast. $8 for a delicious personal pie. What could be better? Keep up the delicous work!

    New local favorite

This place is awesome. They have a lot of competition in the area but completely hold their own. Despite being a little more expensive than most local pizza joints the quality more than makes up for it - everything there is good. The pizza is delicious, with perfect brick oven crust and tasty sauce. Their pasta dishes are just fantastic. Extremely friendly service, too, including great delivery. Highly recommended.

Great Food, just need to iron out the kinks!

Ok- The food is great. The staff seems genuinely friendly and attentive when you call for a delivery order. So the first time I call, I order a pizza and a few other things and they deliver the wrong pizza. I call them back, they were very nice about it, wanted to bring a new pizza out, told them it was ok.....so they offered a free replacement for the next time. The second time I call, I ordered a sandwich, the prosciutto, which on the menu says it has proscuitto, roasted peppers, basil and mozzarella, and of course my replacement pizza from the 1st time. They show up with my sandwich, and no pizza. I called them back immediately and they tell me they're sorry, they'll send one out. Which they very quickly did. The pizza was wonderful, the egglplant parm was great...the sandwich would have been wonderful had they not put a ton of balsamic vinegar on it. The menu never mentioned the balsamic and had it, I would have requested it be left off. So the gist of it...Great food, very nice staff, but they need to iron out the kinks...If you mess up the first time someone orders, maybe you'll get them to try a 2nd time....but if you mess up the 2nd time....even tho the food was good....I'm not really sure I would want to order again. I ordered out for the simplicity of it....no cooking, no hassle etc...

    Delicious food, great staff

They definitely have great staff and great food. Calling for delivery is so nice - they're always really nice, speak English, have a system where they remember your address, are always patient, and they even take credit cards over the phone. They can also try to make custom pasta dishes for you so you can choose your pasta, choose the type of sauce, choose the meat, etc etc which is very convenient. I like the whole wheat penne option.

    A Neighborhood Gem

Don't be fooled by the Pizza Parlor motif. Peppino's is for serious pasta eaters and their eggplant parmigiana is among the best in Brooklyn. The thin crust brick oven pizza is very good and and their salads, served up with fresh baked flat bread straight from the wood fired oven, are a meal in themselves. The young and friendly wait staff are eager to please. The deserts are nothing special your basic restaurant supply fare but the espresso and cappuccino's are excellent. Peppino's is a true neighborhood gem.

    Great food & great service!

My boyfriend and I went in here last weekend and ordered their chicken parm hero and ceasar salad. Both were really great. The proportions were good as well. My bf & I shared both items and were full. The sandwich was a little pricey - about $9 I think, but it was worth it. I'll definitely go back. The place was very clean, and our waitress was a sweetheart. Highly recommended!
