The food here is great but the service is remarkable. The owner is from Sicily and every time we eat here, he's always joyous and friendly. He treats first-timers and regulars alike, and it's obvious that he's very passionate about the food he serves. The last time we were there he gave us an impromptu education 0n Sicily, popping in a video to show us where his favorite dessert wine is produced in the country. I know when I go here the food and conversation will be great; it's almost like eating at someone's home.

We moved to the neighborhood a month ago. We love going to this restaurant. It is our favorite restaurant in the neighborhood. All the negative reviews I read feel like it is coming from other restaurants. We eat here twice a week. We love the owner. He is great. Service is great. Food is great. Will be going back over and over again.

The decor is great! The food was good and the service was excellent! The mojitos were $5! Great to take a date or bring the family.

Although I love the atmosphere of this place the food last Thursday was awful. My lasagne was gross (I almost was concerned it was bad) and my friend's rabbit pasta looked and tasted gross as well. Very nice staff and fun place, but go to La Villa for food that is about 100 times better.

Real great napolitan pizza. I am totally addicted to the octopus (polipetti affogati) . Also you will find other good dishes in the menu as well as in the specials. Monday - Thursday 30% off on all bottles of wine

This restaurant deserves to be reviewed in a differentiated way. First, the food is good, quite sophisticated, cooked with quality ingredients. It is also very authentic and was reminding me veey pleasantly of my ttip to Puglia, Basilicata and Sorrento last year. Now the portions are not xxl, they are of a medium size. The pizza is truly authentic to southern Italy, not to Chicago. The prices are high for Brooklyn, but the quality is making up for some of it. The sangria is tasty and doesn't just taste like cheap wine. Odd is the mostly Spanish music. The service could also be a bit quicker. You need to bring some time. I am from Europe and generally am quite tired of the poor attempts of Italian cuisine in the US. This restaurants has made a difference. I have gone back and I will again.
