I agree with the other reviewer who wrote "Poor Service." More times than not, they mess up the pick-up order, and no one seems particularly concerned about getting it right. The food is good, not great (like it perhaps once was). But unless you want to check everything or risk delivery, this place is not worth it.

I have been ordering for many years from the Sullivan Street location and for the last couple of years grabbing pasta to go for the train to Ct. at the Grand Central location. I think this is the best delivery pasta in the city. Sure, Mario Batali and some high end expensive Italian restaurants have a more refined dish of pasta but for the price and ease, you can't beat Pepe Rosso! The ingredients are fresh and high quality. The tomato, basil and mozzarella is excellent! I also love the bolognese and the vodka with pancetta.

I've ordered from Pepe several times, and without fail each time they mess up my delivery order. I consistently ask for extra salad dressing, explaining that every time I ask, I never get it. In addition, when calling in my order they always seem to rush you off the phone, and have no time to make sure your order is correct. Finally when my order arrives...the delivery guy has no singles--- really! Last but not least, I have never received such a light salad with barely any greens. Come on guys get it together!

I've been ordering out and eating in at Pepe for the last 7 years. I've never been disappointed, be either the food or the service. Michele and the guys there are great... so is the Pene Vodka.

I eat from Pepe Rosso all the time, both from delivery and the couple times I'm able to stop in. If you're planning to visit, be weary of the 8 seats and the possibility of waiting and sitting with strangers. I've done it before, and it isn't an issue at all, unless of course you're with a big party. As far as ordering goes they have fast delivery and the food is always fresh. I always enjoy their penne vodka, also their tomato basil dish is great. You get more than what you pay for with this place, it's good and fast italian food. Feel free to enjoy it!

Craved good Italian, and this place hit the spot. The bolognese was great (a tiny bit oily, but otherwise flavorful and delicious), and the salad was so refreshing. They were courteous -- nay charming -- on the phone when I placed my order, and the delivery was speedy. Highly recommended!

I visited after giving PePe a rest and visited on a Tuesday as always crowded we got a seat for two and I first have to say I LOVE the bread! I ordered my favorite Penne with Spinach and Ricotta. The spinach was tough like chewing leather, I didn't make a big stink because it ruins the whole dinning experience for the other person. These places turn around for chefs are unpredictable, so I will give PePe another chance my friend had eggplant she loved it!
