Went here on the back of these reviews and I have to say the food was a bland and boring. We had the fish and chips and mussels to start. To be fair, the fish and chips was very fresh and quite nice. The mussels were a bit average. For mains we had the thai shrimp and the chicken and sadly this is where the food was let down as both dishes were very bland, with the shrimp overcooked, and the chicken simply overloaded with garlic. Granted, it's not expensive, but there is just far better Asian type food in New York. It might be a nice place for a drink but even then you'll probably want to have one and move on. Unfortunately it's nothing special.

Got there at 10:30 but their dinner menu closed at 10 - Was a bit disappointed cuz i heard great things about their fusion menu - but their late night foods were more than enough and the quality was surprisingly high for late night. The atmosphere is very sexy, and the young crowd - which was primarily Indian and Asian was very hot - and that is coming from a 40-something Caucasian - lol Bartenders could not be any nicer and the manager was an absolute delight. Even if i was undecided to come back (which i am definitely am going back to try the dinner menu), the service and friendliness of the staff alone would have made me try the place again They recently opened, so please give the place a chance - i am sure you will be happy that you did

I was lost on the lower east side. I found this place after skipping out on pizza (counting my carbs). We went in for dinner and had amazing appetizers and entrees. I hadn't counted on it being so good , the bartender was waiting on us so I had second thoughts, but the dinner was delicious and we ended up staying until it turned into one of the hottest friday nights I've ever had in New York City. We jumped upstairs and they had one couch still unreserved. We got bottle service and ended up giving most of our bottle out to this amazing crowd of college kids and professionals. The DJ rocked, no house music, I hate house, but it was eclectic and I danced, and I never dance. The bartenders were hot and super nice. The bar was hard to get to but once I was there I got served with some great late night cocktails and shots. Awesome. People Lounge is highly recommended.

Ive been here before for drinks and I might add that PEOPLE has quite the selection in their bar. I ate there last night and the food and service was great, not too pricey either. 4 people 3 appitizers 4 entrees 1 bottle of pinot noir was $119.00 food was great excellent service phenomenal atmosphere.

these guys have been open for awhile now, and they just started their full kitchen menu. Its good stuff i loved the salt and pepper shrimp and the short ribs!
