The food is great and I come here regularly, but the wait is always long and when I try to order delivery, they either do not pick up the phone, put me on hold and never come back, or tell me to call back later because they're too busy. Why bother saying they can deliver if they don't want to?

I read the good reviews and went with a friend for dessert the other night. I ordered the red velvet cake which was good, but not exceptional. The cappuccino I ordered was very good. The atmosphere was nice, but our service was just OK. We were there late and might have been her last table, but it was clear that she wanted us to hurry. I am anxious to try brunch and/or dinner, but if you go for brunch I suggest going very early (before 10) or very late (after two). I have tried to go at 11 and 1 and was met with an hour wait, which we declined and went somewhere else. Maybe I'll try delivery!

It's worth the wait... Try the penny egg sandwich. It's a weekly event.

My favorite brunch spot in Murray Hill! Both the Penny Egg Sandwich & Nutella French Toast w/fresh fruit are amazing! I seem to just alternate between the 2 each time I come here. The atmosphere is super cute & cozy, and the prices are reasonable. The only thing that kills me every time is the WAIT! I always have to wait at least a full hour. It's super annoying and frustrating, but since i know the food is amazing I just suck it up. In the end it is totally worth it!

Very cute and very busy. But they give you free coffee and the fall weather was perfect for sitting outside on their benches while we waited (over an hour - for our table) My brunch was really good. I ordered the Spinach Pie, yum. Brunch special included coffee or a mimosa - fabulous! However what I DID NOT LIKE, was that we waited forever to get a table and actually bought a lot of food, and we were rushed rushed rushed to leave. A deal breaker for me. Also, they charged my card for the wrong table and had to void it. Annoying.

This place is nice and cute, but the way they handle their customer service is more like they are doing you a favor by feeding you than anything. I live 3 blocks away and they've only agreed to delivery once YET they are listed as delivery friendly. I just tried to call and make an order for pick up and they wouldn't take it because it's not 11:45am. I need to food at 12:30; so not placing the order until 11:45am is too close for comfort, but they didn't care and looks like they are fine not getting my money (I was ordering for 15 so that would have been a decent profit for them). I just want to take them off of my radar, because after 2 years of going to them, I am frustrated at how hard it is to get them to feed me via delivery or otherwise. Waits are long. Food is good. People are polite. But the Food and Polite attitude are no substitute for efficiency and customer service. Penelope puts Penelope first. Why? Not sure. This place is OK, but not worth your time or money.

I don't get this place. Always packed with people waiting and the food is bland as can be. There's more taste in Florida early bird special restaurants than in this food. The hummus tasted store bought and the guac is served with bread. No flavor or spice in either. And our waiter was dull. Why does there have to be tasteless food in NY?
