I decided to go to Pellegrino's for a special birthday dinner for my girlfriend with a group of friends. First of all, this venue has a wonderful atmosphere in which reflects class and luxury. The service was great; we had a great experience with our waitor. As for the food, it was simply amazing. I would have to say that the pastas are to die for. They are plenty in portion and will make your taste buds want you to come again. All around, a wonderful restaurant.

I saw all the great reviews for this restaurant and I was a bit disappointed. Service was fast, but sometimes too fast as when the bus boy wanted to take my plate WAY before I was finished eating. Then at dessert, no one came for the 30 min we sat there to refill coffees. Food was good-excellent calamari! Portions could have been a little bigger. I guess they want you to leave room for dessert! Good tiramisu and cappucino...just not enough regular coffee.

My date wanted pasta - lets go to little Italy, I said. Got to Mulberry Street and no idea where to go - but saw Pellegrinos and liked the look so went in. He loved his pasta - rigatoni al vodka. My vitello pellegrino was scrumptious - artichokes and mushrooms and totally succulent veal. The wine - Vino Nobile di Montepulchiano was delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive and the bill reasonable - would recommend and will return.

This restaurant was the perfect spot for my first date. We walked all over Little Italy and landed Pellegrino as our choice for the night. We couldn't have picked a better place to go for excellent food, an amazing bottle of Chardonnay, and perfect atmosphere! Truly will be the Anniversary choice.

I was visiting Little Italy where my grandfather was raised and I happened to look up and saw "Pellegrino's", so I had to go in. Everything was terrific! The Veal Parm was the best I ever had. The canolli was the very best! The service was excellent. The atmosphere was great! And the price wasn't bad considering I was in Manhattan.

Wonderful food, good prices - watch the specials however they are good but they are pricey. We took 5 friends for a birthday celebration everyone loved the food and we had a wonderful time.

We had dinner Easter Sunday. Veal Parm was excellent...probably the best I've ever tasted. Seafood is wonderful also, as well as the salads. Generous portions and real authentic Italian cooking. Great wine selection. Parking is a hasle on weekends or anytime actually, but it was worth the trouble. Would definitely return. Service was excellent. No complaints whatsoever.
