After reading all the other reviews on this place, I thought it would be a good idea to order from them. Boy, what a mistake. I ordered mooshu vegetables and the szechuan dumplings that other reviewers said were good. The mooshu was tasteless and soggy. The dumplings were gloopy. And the claim that the delivery was fast? It took them 40 minutes to get here.

I order from here regularly over the other chinese takeout joints because the price and value are the best. Delivery comes within 20 minutes. Also, the food tastes surprisingly goodnot too greasy, no MSG. Schezuan wontons are surprisingly good and I've never had them anywhere else, and their hot and sour soup is delicious.

Raised Chinese-American in Inwood, I know it's hard to find great Chinese food above 125thmost restaurants serve soggy cold sesame noodles and straight-from-the-freezer fried chicken. Like Ming's Wok, Peking Garden avoids these pitfalls. The steamed vegetable dumplings were great (if you're into thick skin), the General's chicken was hot and packed a good chicken-to-fry ratio, and the Chow Fun was just that. Don't be discouraged by the ordering process, since you might get put on hold more than a few times! Delivery time can only be beat by the prices.

How I feel about what we ordered: Egg Roll: Great! Shanghai Spring Roll: A little greasy, but okay. Steamed Dumplings: Thick-dough dumplings, a solid 6 out of 10. Sesame Chicken: V. Good Fried Rice: Yellow fried rice, okay. Delivery Time: V. fast! Overall: I'm very happy with the egg roll and the chicken, and will definitely order from here again.

They were very quick for delivery, the guy was very nice and friendly. Don't be disillusioned by the cheap prices, the portions even for the "quart" are HUGE! Not gourmet by any means but good for study-break take-out and totally worth it. I agree with the other guy--sesame chicken is bomb.

Never actually went in the restaurant, but their takeout is good. Typical Chinese food, not the best I've ever had or anything special, but pretty good. They give big portions and seem to be the cheapest in the Columbia neighborhood. Delivery is also usually fast. For something different, try the szhechuan wonton appetizer for $2.50. I'd never had it anywhere else, but it's regular wontons in a slightly spicy peanut sauce, very good value and taste.

Best chinese I've ever had in NYC, and I've had a lot...there's not much of a 'restaurant', but you can't beat it for quick and efficient delivery, and top notch food. Get the sesame chicken!!
