Oh what a lunch
Been to Peep a couple times for lunch. Outstanding value and delicious, creative cuisine.

Great meal in a great setting
I went here for lunch last weekend and was thrilled with the atmosphere, food and value. Peep was running a lunch special with appetizer and main for under $15. I had a nice starter of dumplings with crab and shrimp and moved onto a mountain of shrimp pad thai. No complaints with anything. My friends had the semolina fritters with a yummy curry sauce and basil chicken curry. All very tasty. The atmosphere was great. I've heard it can be crowded during dinner but we were there right when it opened at lunch so that wasn't an issue. About the only thing I can say negatively is that we were a bit put out by the one waiter who couldn't stop playing with his hair and looking at himself in the mirror every two seconds. Literally, he was standing in the middle of the restaurant staring in the mirrored walls doing his hair for the entire hour and a half we were eating. I just kept hoping he wasn't allowed to touch any of the food in the back after all that. But would definitely go there again and highly recommend it.

Pretty good
Okay, as a thai person who knows real thai food, I was ready to criticize the heck out of peep. But once I got there, I understood. They don't serve authentic thai and they don't pretend too. I just took the place for what it was. Trendy decor, adorably conceived bathrooms, low prices, and good food. The only bone I have to pick with the place is service. I'm not usually the type to pay much attention to serve (esp in an inexpensive restaurant) but it was a little ridiculous here. We were a party of 7 and one of my friends literally got her entree as I was finishing mine and another of my friends got hers way after mine was finished. The waitstaff only apologized absentmindedly. We also only got our waters 2/3 of the way into the meal after many requests for my friend's entrees and the water. And then, as if that weren't bad enough, because we were a large party they added in the gratuity themselves. So if you go, don't go with more than 6 so that you can tip however much you like (or they deserve).

Great food! Great value
My husband and I have been here twice. One for lunch and another for dinner. Both times, the food was great. Great atmosphere and overall good value for the type of high quality food your getting. Go out there and enjoy the food!

Beautiful food, great value
A great little restaurant, small enough not to be lost amongst other diners. Food was fantastic. We had 6 in our group and not one complaint. Two mains plus a couple of drinks each came to $50...great value. The bar is a perfect way to start off your night with a few drinks as well, cosy and good service. Definitely worth a visit....I will be going back when I next go to New York.
