Great food for a great value
My wife and I had a great meal with drinks and an appetizer, and even with the tip still paid less than $40. Easily my favorite meal I've had in Manhattan for some time, the braised duck was moist and rich -- just the way duck should be. Good food, good service, good decor, good price -- can't ask for more from a restaurant!

Far from great
I ordered a duck entree. The taste was all right, but it was clearly a leftover feel instead of freshly braised. The menus are greasy, so was the tea cup. Service just so so. My dining partner complained about his seafood being overcooked. Just another regular Thai place, nothing of the "great" line.

We laughed and laughed
We used the restroom first, that was really an eye opener! Very funny! The menu selection gave us numerous choices. We really enjoyed the pad thai, the garlic chicken with veggies, the garlic shrimp and the Chicken Basil Saute. The veggies were prepared perfectly. Would go back again.

Great place
Really enjoyed it. Food was creative but not pretentious mixing traditional with modern quite comforatably. The salad I had was excellent and had a spicey tang to it. The duck in pinot noir for the main course was very tender and the sauce not overpowering. Service was competant and unhurried. Overall an excellent experience that a lot of places would exploit with over the top prices. I look forward to returning soon.

Great food for a reasonable price
I've been to Peep 3 or 4 times, and I absolutely love it! The food is prepared well and the price is low. The two sided mirror bathroom is fun, but a gimmick that this great restaurant doesn't need to attract customers. The best time to go is for lunch to catch the special (appetizer and main course for one low price). The atmosphere is nice too. The pink florescant lights may have scared some of my male friends at first, but once they tried the food, they didn't mind at all. Some people commented how the service was slow, but I didn't have any problems when I went. Definitely try this one!

Delish!
I dined at Peep twice in one week and had a great experience each visit. The meals are presented exquisitely. The calamari appetizer is excellent. I've also tried the sesame dish with chicken (awesome!) and the pad thai (a little sweeter than I've had elsewhere, but they definitely don't skimp on the shrimp or chicken!) And the coconut ice cream is soooo heavenly! The bathrooms are kinda freaky though----one way mirror. But the service is great and the prices are reasonable.

Been to Peep a couple times for lunch. Outstanding value and delicious, creative cuisine.
