I am throwing away the delivery menu
It started out a few years ago really well with a Shanghai-styled menu. The delivery was fast and the food was great. Now it has deteriorated so much to the point that I am throwing away the menu so that I will never order from them again. First, the food is no longer edible sauce was watery (ever heard of corn starch? use some), and lacks flavor. Second, the portion has gotten progressively smaller and smaller. Once the delivered shanghai fried noodle was only half filled. Even the white rice that comes with my order was loosely packed. Come on, you are a Chinese restaurant, how much does rice and noodle cost you? It has been like this for the past year or so. I have given them too many chances already.......so do yourself a favor....do as I do, throw away the delivery menu.

Not good
I threw out the entire order of fried pork dumplings because of the dubious nature of the meat. The wontons in the wonton soup had virtually disintegrated. Lord knows how long they had been swimming in their rather tasteless broth. The chow fun was neither chow nor fun and the crispy prawns with walnuts was also a disappointment. Honestly, I'm not sure how this place stays in business.

I'll pass...
I found the food overly greasy and bland in the flavor department...the wine is free, but cheap...doesn't make up for the food...all said and done...I'll pass on this place.

Delicieux!!!
I went to this restaurant last night, not knowing quite what to expect. I've been to Silk Road Palace numerous times, which is also an all you can drink white wine with dinner place. I was hoping that Pearls would be something like that. Pearls is a really nice place with a lovely ambience. It was really quiet and we got a table by the window right away. The service wasn't all that great, but the appetizers and entrees made up for it, along with the price (very reasonable for the amount of food you get). I must recommend the watercress shrimp dumplings (fried not steamed) as an appetizer. The orange chicken was magnificent. I had some of my friend's food too, which was also fantastic. The only negative thing about this place is they are not quite as free with their serving of wine as Silk Road Palace is... you have to ask for refills and the staff is kind of aloof and not really as attentive as they should be, even when the place is almost empty. Nonetheless, I would go back here with my boyfriend and other friends. I give it 4 stars.

Subpar chinese food
The food at pearl's is greasy and poor quality. Even the wonton soup was not good. It is not worth the free table wine that you recieve.

Just ok.
the food was okay and so was the service. i was not impressed with the food, but i'm not complaining either. the best part was you get a free glass of wine with dinner.
