Since I went with a party of 8, the tip was included. Apparently, this means that they don't care how the service is. They messed up one order and pushed and pushed it on us until someone caved and took it. Food was delivered quickly except one order so that person sat for ten minutes waiting. Waitresses were incredibly rude- pushing past us, pretending not to hear us, not once did anyone come back and ask us if everything was alright. Food was decent but I would never go back due to how we were treated.

Better than any other Chinese place I've eaten at above 90th on the UWS. Szechuan dumplings are great.

Got a delivery, fried dumplings (oily, soggy, inedible), wonton soup (like dumplings, inedible), broccoli in garlic sauce was over cooked and over doused in sauce, moo shoo vegetables were delivered without hoisin sauce. Won't order from them again.

I ordered take-out for the second time last night and felt I needed to elaborate on my previous mediocre rating of bok choy. The broccoli in garlic sauce and dried string beans were both good, if a little oily. Nonetheless, both were cooked just right and were flavorful, just a little spicy. Chicken lo mein was also quite good. Everything arrived quickly and hot. I have never dined in the restaurant so I cannot rate atmosphere or service.

I ordered from Pearl for the first time tonight. My husband and I tried the roast duck noodle soup (ordered wontons in addition) and sauteed Chinese bok choy. The soup was pretty good. The wontons had a good flavor as did the noodles. The duck was somewhat overcooked. The vegetable dish on the other hand was about the worst I have ever had. The vegetables were way overcooked and were sitting in a white "sauce" essentially a suspension of salt and corn starch with a hint of wine. There was also tofu coated in salty mush mixed in with the vegetables.

I called to place my order and was so delighted to speak with a patient, polite and informative person! She helped me find a particular dish that I was looking for on the menu and explained the different ways that I could have it! I love this place!

I've ordered take out twice from Pearls. The atmosphere is luring. However, the food is mediocre at best. The crispy orange beef was gross. Over fried, soggy and swimming in grease. The chicken in vegetables was strictly average, nothing special. I will not order here again. I give up on Chinese food on the upper west side
