I was in the city on 3/17 - 18 on business and accidently came accross this diner. I had lunch here for the first time on 3/17/14. My experience was so good that I went back on 3/18/14. Staff and food cannot be duplicated.

do not order corned beef here it is a total waste of money. It was solid fat and tough. Total garbage save your money. French fries are soggy and powery inside also garbage.

This place like an enjoyable little nook. The service was incredible. The waitresses were very attentive to our every demand. The food was outstanding. The staff were very generous to us. They gave us everything we needed. Next time I'm around in that area I know exactly where I'm going to eat. I was pleased with the service because at that time they were very busy but were still able to take care of us and our order. Such generosity. 5 stars :)))

I went to the Pearl Diner because I am an avid fan of robert pattinson and his movie remember me. when I got there, the waitress seemed to recognize me as a fangirl and immediately seated me at the booth seen in the movie! I ordered a bialy and spinach pie (what he ate in remember me) and both were delicious. my friends had milkshakes, a burger, and a veggie burger, and we could not have been more satisfied with the food and service. we went all the way from midtown to this diner and then back, which sounds ridiculous, but well worth it!

Was way better when it was a cafeteria inside the building. Prices rose, portions shrunk. Oh yeah, $5 minimum on food to use credit card is ridiculous when you serve breakfast.

Place is small, but inviting. Great customer service for 3 waitresses who run the floor and serve over 50 customers within the hour. The kitchen is open, has 2-3 cooks and food is served in a timely fashion.
