Mehhh
This place got great reviews so a friend and I decided to try it out. We were the only people in the restaurant even though it was dinner time on a Thursday night. The food was nothing special and while the decor was nice the music was not. If I want to listen to Top 40 hits I'll go to a club. Our waiter hovered (likely because there were no other patrons) and the service was awkward. Overall not an awful experience but there are too many good restaurants in this city to waste time going back.

Tried to pull one over
The place is very pretty. The lady who cleared the dishes and brought the bread was professional and did her job perfectly. The waiter, however, didn't treat us right. While the pasta was a good portion, it needed more taste. The bread is definitely lacking. The chicken was good but mostly bone. The annoying thing was that the waiter first gave us one wine list. The prices on this list were $8 higher than on the second wine list. Why did he then give us a second wine list? Because we noticed the name on the list was not the name of the restaurant. He said they have two restaurants and this was the wine list for the other restaurant. We also noticed they gave a different menu to another couple. Do they have two sets of menus also with two different prices?

Excellent food, amazing service!
We went to Pazzia last night and it was absolutely amazing. The mozzarella and tomato appetizer had the most incredible and wonderful mozzarella. They made gluten free pasta for one person in our party, which was wonderful, salmon and gnocchi were fantastic. The one curious thing - the place was mostly empty, which for the quality of food is completely incomprehensible. We had wonderful service throughout. Highly recommend this restaurant - we'll be going back for sure!

Great neighborhood Italian
Pazzia is an exceptional, under-the-radar Italian restaurants. They use fresh ingredients, and everything is made to order--it's not the typical gloppy, heavy food we've come to expect from reasonably-priced Italian establishments. The minestrone is the best I've ever had, and all the pastas I've tried are delicious, and perfectly cooked. The wait staff is extremely attentive. My one wish is that they would make the music more relaxing, not clubby. Great place though!

Great place
The food at Pazzia is authentic Italian (I am Italian myself), really tasty and good value for money. The service is great, typical of a very well run family business. The owner is a very approachable and nice man from Southern Italy, we really enjoyed talking to him and would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a relaxed genuine Italian meal.

Not a new yorker
followed the previous reviews about pazzia and was not disappointed. All the food was well prepared, service was fast and friendly, and was not rushed to vacate our table. Meat raviolli in cream sauce was delish and the owner was attentive, honored Restaurant.com certificate with no reminder. Would come back when in city again.
