Very Good! My Home away from Home
Some Girlfriends and I have been going to Pazza Note for years! It is a great place to go talk have some good food (suggest the Linguini Fini with Shrimp and extra Garlic!!) and two for one Martini's all night! Yes they have a DJ and a huge TV Screen for the boys. The vibe is younger and fun. It's not for people that want "a quiet sit down dinner". It's for corporations that are into working hard and playing harder and for a Sex in the city conversation about life with girls, or Beer, Music and Sports with the Guys. It is also really cute for a date to kick off the night! Based on the bad reviews given, its not for everybody, but if I described you, You will almost live there!! The service has always been good as well. But the team there is not chasing a tip. They are super busy and always want you to feel comfortable. They deal with a lot of Drunkies with the two for one Deal! But if you ask anyone to get your waiter they will make sure to do so!

Not recommended
I recently went to Pazza Notte for lunch with work colleagues and was disappointed by both the service and the food quality. Our party ordered appetizers to share, yet our server did not bring plates for sharing and left us sitting there for 10 minutes without them. I had to get up and ask! Nobody came to check on us over the course of our meal, water glasses remained empty and we had to ask 3 times for the check. On top of it all the food was sub-par and overpriced. The chicken and pasta dishes were both seriously overcooked. Won't be going back.

Decent place to kick off a night out
I work 1/2 a block from this place and saw their 2-for-1 Martini Happy Hour offer. So I made plans to go with a friend. Overall we had a good time. I had to wait for about 30 minutes for my friend, and the bar staff was good with not rushing me and keeping me happy with water. The martinis weren't watered down at all. Our bartender served one of the best French Martinis I've had in the city (the others were great too - we had Blood Orange, White Peach [which he didn't charge us for!], and Passionfruit - all mixed well and poured generously. Just note that you have to get two of the same martini). And at $13/martini...you're only paying $6.50/martini...and getting twice the amount for your money...and you're not beating that in Southern NJ let alone Midtown East! For our appetizer we ordered the Frittura Di Frutti Di Mare (shrimp, scallops & calamari lightly dusted & flash fried with tartar dip & fire roasted tomato salad). Pretty good! Nice twist to the usual plain calamari. But it was $18 for not the biggest portion. For our entree, we had the Pizza Di Carne (creamy roquefort, grilled sirloin, baby arugula, jalapenos, cherry tomatoes, white truffle vinaigrette). The flavor of the toppings was amazing! But the crust was flavorless (it was like a saltine meets a pita...but without the salt). And for $24 they were pretty chincy on the beef and roquefort. And without having a crust that complemented the toppings...I wasn't thrilled. So after sharing everything, we were full but not stuffed. We were glad to have ordered the appetizer since we agreed that we wouldn't have been full just by sharing the pizza. Overall, we were satisfied and would go back for happy hour...but we may have a light dinner at home first. Even for midtown east, the food prices are too high for my taste for what I'm being given (and I'm not a cheapo...but I am very frugal). On one last note, I will say that I would have been very put off from the entire experience if we hadn't been given such exceptional service. So if you're splitting the bill, I think it's worth it at the bar. We had an appetizer, an entree, and 3 drinks (since he comped one) for $50 each (including tax). But, even though we had a good time, I would only ever go back after 5 and sit at the bar to utilize Happy Hour.

Comfortable Downtown Vibe in Midtown
Had a great time here last Friday night!! Stop in just to have a quick bite and really enjoyed it. There was a DJ and a good after work crowd, they have two for one Martinis and nice thin crust pizza. They place had a real downtown feel that's much needed in Midtown, the staff was very friendly and knowledgable. Looks like it gets crowed in the evenings so I suggest calling ahead to secure a table.

Excellent Pizza & Pasta, warm & friendly
I took some co workers here for a few drinks and some pasta after work. A friend who worked in the area for a longtiem recommended it. It's a very lively place (in terms of music) but at the same time there's a relaxed feel to it, which is nice after work. We were seated promptly by a smiling hostess and tried the 2 4 1 martinis which are pretty strong! The ladies was with loved it. I have to say the piazza and pasta we ate was excellent - the lasagne and trio di pasta were memorably good, and great value. The bread here is also delicious and I'm guessing they bake it themselves. This is a warm, relaxed and friendly pasta joint with consistant food, I'd go back for sure. The TV there is normally playing football when it's on and the bartender will let you check the scores of any other sports you like - always useful!

good and pokey
Nice place, good food and very noisy! To see and to be seen - ok. Martinis could be better...

Good pasta
I went here with my girlfriend after work. It was nice, noisy but in a good way, and fast. We had a train to catch, and so we grabbed a quick bite and a glass of wine. Salad was good, shrimp a bit dry, steak was good served with a layered potato casserole, and the fettuccine was fabulous. I loved the pasta the best. Homemade with red sauce and shrimp. Was very tender. The waiter was quick and efficient. I would recommend this place if you want a quick, no frills meal. And the atmosphere is nice and noisy but not too busy. And the window tables face the open glass doors. We walked out that way.
