sandwiches, soup, salad excellent
fast food, but not your usual mac donalds: freshly made (usually 3 kinds) soup, a variety of sandwiches, and made to your order salads; could use more than one cash register and cashier, but waiting is a habit in manhattan. give pax a definite try for a relatively quick lunch and when tabels are available, a nice place for a quick chat during and after lunch.
