This is hands down the best burger in NYC! Period

I've been trying to find a good burger joint in Manhattan and I think I've found my place. I ordered the Monterey Jack cheese burger with sweet potato fries and a lemonade. The quality of the meat was excellent, and the fries were great. My friend ordered the cheddar cheeseburger with fries with melted cheese on top and the fries were great. The only suggestions I have are that they toast the buns and maybe make their own lemonade. Besides that, loved it!

Do you know that sign they put up in alcoholic old man bars to discourage the booze hounds to challenge the quality? "This Aint burger king, you can't have it your way, it's my way or go to Burger King" Well, I would sort of hope you would have higher aspirations than Burger KIng and it seems you do since all the childish grafitti leading up to your joint screams one could customize their burger But behold, you have that obnoxious sign bolted on the menu I took your advice not to go to burger king, but they you were even lower class

After spending one week in NY, it is certainly the best burger me and my sons have ever eaten. Jucy, tasty, large and perfectly cooked. A typical place out of the strandardized branded burger places. The mushroom omelet was also excellent. For any visitors from any country, I recommend!

When you're surrounded by 50% off sushi and other assorted trendy foods, it's good to know that Paul's is one of the best burgers I've ever had. It's... pure... no pretention... It's a great burger on a store bought bun that takes you back to backyard bbqs and growing up in the hot sun. The cajun fries are awesome. This is not a first date place. This is a "I want a good burger and a cold beer while I watch manly stuff on TV" type of place. If I had Paul's 2-3 times a week, I'd be one fat happy bastard.

This is one of the best burgers in the city. My rating is strictly for the american cheese cheeseburger. It is always cooked to order perfectly. I don't go for all those crazy additions. The meat is so fresh because they turn out so many burgers, the decor is simple with classic type road house pictures on the wall. The grill is open to viewing as soon as you walk in, and it always looks very clean to me. I recommend opting for the cajun fries for the deluxe burger and try dipping them in their rich mayo. May sound odd but there was one fry in the mayo they daubed on the plate for the burger and it was DELICIOUS. I couldn't get enough of that flavor combination. The pickles that are served in the bowl are fresh, crunchy, half-sour and great flavor. I usually stick with the regular american cheese burger, but there are so many other options and the complicated ones are very messy, the soft bun doesn't hold up to all the extras. The potato salad is average, like the pre-packaged processed potatoes. I avoid it. The service is friendly but they wont win any awards for memory skills when you ask for extra napkins or something. I think it cost around 25 dollars minus tax and tip for two burger deluxes and beverages. You will leave full but not overstuffed.

This burger isn't good it is VERY average Burger and there are way better places to eat a burger in Manhattan. This place is overrated and I don't understand why people think this place makes quality burgers. I have even tried to go back more than once to give this place a chance and it is the same mediocre burger.
