Simply great
I've been eating here for the past couple of years and always been more than happy. The food is great and service is always friendly. There is no Italian restaurant I would rather go to than this place. The menu is classic old school Italian, but the specials can get quite inventive sometimes. If your in the mood for great food in a low key atmosphere, then you must try this place.

Not one complaint! A new favorite.
I live in the neighborhood and finally gave Paul and Jimmy's a try after a co-worker could not believe I had not eaten there yet. I went with my father and we loved both of our meals. The waiter was attentive and there was not one complaint about anything. I certainly would not consider this just a neighborhood place. It really is good and authentic Italian food. The atmosphere is nice and it is quiet. They also have a very good prixe fix menu with many choices. I went last Sunday with my dad and I am taking my whole family there tonight.

Breast feeding allowed
Reservation phone call for 8pm --- $1.00 Seated near kitchen in middle of empty restaurant -- $5 off tip Waiting for our appetizers for 45 minutes --- another $5 off tip Woman breast feeding her 3 year old @ table next to us - Priceless!!!

It's like going home again.
A casual and warm atmosphere. The food is insane! You cannot leave without having the eggplant rollatini and penne vodka. Fantastic! Great service too. For dessert, just have the homemade italian cheesecake. Try it, you'll like it.

Excellent Food Destination
This is always my first restaurant destination when in the City on business or for pleasure, and I have never had a negative dining issue in any form other than service that could use some improvement at times. However, the food always makes it worth the wait. The atmosphere is quaint, low key, and most relaxing. I look forward to my pending next week, and more to come thereafter!

The best Italian restaurant for the buck
Whenever I enter Paul and Jimmy's I'm always greeted with a warm hello. I always seem to feel at home, only with better food choices. The Beet salad special is one of my favorites and I never want to skip the calamari appetizer. I usually go for the Penne Portifino or a Chicken Entre. On occasions you might catch a celebrity sneaking in a quick bite. Always a good meal.

So so food, great atmosphere
I went with several friends...all of our foods were salty.. all the dishes were unsatisfactory..not worth your 20+ bucks...but the atmosphere was great & family-like.
