Exactly what it says on the Package

Welcoming window, warm, well lite, lots of wood. It has a tavern feeling, yet modern. The food is good and well priced, I had burger which I really enjoyed, it was excellent my Fiancee had the steak which he claimed was also excellent. As it had just opened It seemed the staff were still getting on their feet but they were very pleasant and eager to please. The music which is often overlooked was great and enhanced conversation rather than drowning it.

My new burger and steak house destination

This was the best filet migon i have had besides going to steak houses and haveing pay $40 for it. Perfectly cooked and seasoned with a plate licking bourbon sauce and only $24.. My friend had the burger and was equally impressed. The bun and the beef were perfectly portioned. The burger was juicy and thick. I already did recommend it to friends.

    A true American Tavern

I love the term Tavern, that is exactly what Patty & Bun is. A bar with great tap beers and wine and liquor. And the food-DELICIOUS! and unique. Music, mood lighting and lots of atmosphere. You really get your monies worth.

    Disappointment

tasteless crabless crabcakes on strange salad..Havoc Burger was only fair and sweetpotato chips were shiny with grease. Special cheese sauce was nauseating! Regular burger was nothing special. Cold cheese, razor thin hothouse tomato slice and small fries that were unercooked. Cute place but better burgers in lots of places in the Village

Not worth going out of your way for

While i have no serious complaints....there was no wow factor...and 16 bucks for a burger and fries should atleast make a somewhat impactuful impression....to many better burgers in the area for this place to survive

On my top five list of burgers in NYC

One of the best burgers i have had lately, perfectly cooked w/ yummy fries. Very cool and relaxed atmosphere with great choice of music and friendly service.
